The problem for me was he has had his chance and failed again to finish the season on a positive note just seeing the season out with poor performances and this time he can’t be given any grace re injuries.
It’s just not good enough and it’s just fecking shambles and an unorganised bunch.

A good coach will get the best out of even average players

The desire and urgency to win should be and has to be greater for us, considering this is our season, and St's don't have a great deal to play for. Whether we have the quality is another question.

Thing is, I really want the current coaching staff to do well. They seem like really good guys with integrity. They also gave me the greatest day of my life in 2016.
Unfortunately it just seems there’s no going back from all this. We haven’t got a load of salary cap sat in the stands this year at the business end, yet the performances are not much better. I wasn’t a huge fan of Gentle, but he never presided over so many massive beatings as we’ve took this year. Even Agars team didn’t concede as many points against average opposition.
He’ll be given more time because of the signings but I feel so ambivalent about our style of rugby, I’ll be back there next year out of duty more than anything.

He can take him back to Leeds now for me.
