| Under LR we simply haven’t kicked on
We’ve gone backwards
You can’t draw any other conclusion other than he is not the man for the job
Look at Watson at Salford
Even Ward at London
They’re both doing amazing jobs
I’m already blue in the face over whether LR is the right man
I’m just confused that AP sees so
Much in him
When it wasn’t AP’s money in soccer he would fire coaches with ease
It’s a strange one for sure as LR is a spent force

| Just watched Mel v can!! Wow, it’s like a different game, all action for 80 mins, plenty of errors, but just continually back them up with unbelievably defence and attack, I don’t think the gap in quality between nrl v sl as ever been so big. Just the reminder I needed to what a great game rl can be, after watch our awful game yesterday

| I appreciate the buck stops with Radford, but some of the basic errors made yesterday must make LR wonder why he bothers at all.
First set we have the ball, knocked on during 2nd tackle - result Salford Try. Houghton Knocks one, result, Salfords 3rd try. 2 cheap penalties early in second half, result Salfords 4th and 5th tries. Sneyd may as well have told Welham it was his ball, result their 6th try. Short kick of, we retain possession to then go for a miracle off load, results try No. 7.
We were poorer today then when wire and st's racked up 60+ on us. Salford were good enough to punish our errors.
Conner needs to be in the centres and not 6.

| One of the saddest things for me is that I'm not enjoying being a Hull fan right now. We all know that there's only two trophies on offer and you can't win everything so results and league placings that don't meet my expectations I can live with. Indeed, fans of most sports do. What's really churning my stomach over the last few years (including 2016/17) is the lack of repect and integrity right across the board. From the ever escalating on field cheating and confrontational attitude towards officials to the apathetic attitude of the players and coaching staff and the continuous drivel in the press about how we're going to do this and that without an ounce of commitment when it comes to it! It's making me very disolusioned about the game I've loved for thirty years. The very fact that I rocked up to last night's game knowing how big it was but expecting us to fall flat on our faces (albeit not in such spectacular fashion) just hightlights how predictably poor we are on a regular basis. I fear another terrible end to the season. Only decades of ingrained loyalty to a club and a sport that doesn't appear to care about it's fans keeps me going. I'm now going to sit in a dark corner and cry.

| I think apathy towards the game in general is spreading. Many people I know don’t even bother watching the televised games now, and are fans due to a long seated sense of loyalty.
As for Hull, we have more things in our favour than not.
An ambitious owner, good 2020 squad and a large and loyal fan base.
We’ve treaded water the last couple of years, but I really can’t see AP being happy with that next season. It’s a big year in many ways I reckon, and if we aren’t competing at the top end I can’t see AP sitting on his hands.

Don’t even think about watching nrl mr glory as it will ruin watching the game here, I fell for it and now watching my club(hkr) it kills it, it’s like driving a Ferrari to pick up your metro city e, at least your picking up an mg montego.

Why ?
We were very good in 16-17
That was meant to be the start
It was
The start of something garbage

| big 3 games coming up, win 2 and we should make 4th, I rememember a lot on here saying at the beginning of the season we would be 6th or lower some saying around 8th, so if we do finish 4th its a big improvement on last year, Saying that performances like last night are really disappointing, it needs to be sorted, am sure Radford is pulling his hair out today, but he wont be going anywhere soon, But I also think next year is gonna be a big year, on paper our pack should be one of the best in the league, if we are still struggling with big defeats then things may and will change I believe, 2 weeks rest big players to come back, a must win game against hudds and we could be 3rd,

But I bought four season tickets for this year, jam tomorrow. I never worry about losing or being duffed up, but last night, can be summed up by Hastings try at the end, we watched, we waited, we capitulated. No effort, no desire, no game plan, and seemingly no worries.
I stayed and clapped em off, I always do, but inwardly I was disgusted, deflated, and fekin angry.

I agree, but we are still in the hunt this year, I believe our pack is our main weakness and that's been addressed, I also think that these performances this year are bloomin awful, no excuses, but apart from saints the rest have been much the same, look at the posts earlier in the year a lot where saying we would be in a relegation battle, we are where we are because we just arnt good enough, although on our day we can trouble anyone, just that those days come along every 5/6 games lol, I still think we can finish 4th, but these awful performances need sorting, its just not good enough,

| When people point the pack out as a weakness
What are your opinions on how we used Satae yesterday?
He was crying out for the ball, and we kept throwing it over or behind him, is it part of the game plan to just use two props and not pass to the others, found it really odd he got one pass in his first stint

| At the end of the day no matter how you try and excuse or justify the performance last night it is and was simply inexcusable and unacceptable. Now you can say yes but we’re still in 4th blah blah blah but we can’t seriously think that a team that has the mental attitude to dish up a steaming turd performance with what was riding on it is going to achieve success, it’s dillusional.
I hope the club as a whole come out and apologise and state it’s unacceptable.
As for LR sounding miffed that Hull FC don’t get the credit they deserve well dishing up that crap is a bit self defeating and if you want plaudits you need to sort it out.
I really can’t understand why some seem to try and justify last nights performance.
The fact these performances are becoming a frequent thing should be a major concern and it seems it something that can not be solved by the current coaching team.
Whilst I am very much looking forward to the squad assembled for next season I also am now wondering if we will just see the same crappy efforts too? It’s ok saying the packs been the problem but that’s only a small part, it’s the basic skills that are lacking like holding a bl00dy ball for one thing, no desire to front up in defence from ptb, instead just standing and waiting losing the collision every ptb, just sticking a kick up in the air to the corners on just about every set, no real effort to put opposition under sustained pressure.
In all honesty & sadly I just don’t think LR & AL can take us much further unless they get help.

| We don't share the work load well enough, just look at the stats from yesterday.
Thought Satae looked a handful, will need time to settle.
Not going to win anything i'd dread a final with Saints but we have to go down fighting in the last few games.

Agreed also and that’s my concern for next season that although recruitment fir next season has been good there is every chance we will still see much the same. As the issues do not seem to be getting looked at or rectified in the games. Our handling and speed of passing the ball is atrocious, the lack of desire to get in the faces of the opposition is another area that is seriously lacking as we lose so much ground then have to work harder get back up the field to be in with a chance near the oppositions line.

Nail on the head there Chris! And one of the reasons it continues to happen is that so many fans are as apathetic to it as the club, happy to drift along on a wave of mediocrity. There's little pressure from the fan base when so many lemmings chuck themselves off the cliff after each other. As I've already alluded to, attitude, commitment and desire from the players will always count for more to a lot of fans than where we are in the table or cup. You feel like it matters to them. It seems like this bunch don't give a toss so long as they are getting paid.

After some of the drubbings we've had this season it would be easier to say who hasn't. I don't mean attitude as in having a strop. I mean professional attitude towards their job instead of the 'don't give a 3' attitude we've seen so often this year.

Not sure what you want the fans to do, miss games, stop buying shirts, these will only hurt the club even more.
Pearson wants Radford, he personally saved, improved and keeps our club going, so unless you or Some one else who is prepared to lose a few million, then we have to trust his judgement.
Whilst at times we have been disapointting, I think some fans are overreacting.

Thats just one of Houghtons deficiencies at the play the ball nothing to do with Radford.
starting against Huddersfield Radford has to get his best team on the park with players in their best positions and hopefully get the wins we need.
He can start with Connor back at right centre and Tuimavave left centre to bolster that left edge defence.Griffin on the bench interchanging with Minichello and Manu.
No place for Westerman for me.Ellis to 13.
last chance salon for Shaul

Not a criticism of Shaul really, just think we’d be a different animal with Connor being an extra pivot.
