I accept fans have different viewpoints so will not readily nor have I criticised fans. I will disagree with opinions but try not to be childish or bullying like some.
I also do not and have not criticised the club ever.
All I have done is lost patience and confidence in a coach at the beginning of last season I was enthusiastic about.
And if you look at my posting history you will see I am a very infrequent poster unlike some that live on here.

No, it doesn't matter that they are above us after four bloody games. We've had Huddersfield, Warrington, Salford and Leeds and Wakefield have played Cas, Rovers, Widnes and Saints. They got absolutely tonked by Widnes in case you missed it.

All we seem to be reading are the same regurgitated moans and groans about Radford. We know many of you don't like him, but just repeating the same comments ad nauseum will not make them any more relevant. You're entitled to your opinions and I would defend your right to have that opinion but it doesn't mean that I or anyone else has to agree with it. As indeed you don't have to agree with mine. The debate is now descending into personal insults and the mods need to be having a word with one or two people.

The players have been toilet at times, i've neet seen the Leeds game back, yes i was there. But i've been told Westerman was not quite up to England level in that second half

What grinds my beans is the blind on here who see no wrong no matter what, and should anyone point out any bit that aint good they get shot down, called an antagonist.

We have been toilet for a number of years, so much i'm now past caring.

I read a piece about why Huddersfields gates are so low and will never grow back to the years of 30k at Fartown, its cos they were so bad for so long, an entire generation stopped going.

If we are not careful and sort our out we will also lose a generation and never ever grow. I genuinely fear we missed our chance to grow huge from 2005-7.

This year marks 10 years since Cardiff, since then we made 3 major finals, close ish in one for half hour (0icon_cool.gif, out classed in one by a jugganaught (06) and hardly turned up/weather effected/players injured in 13

That's not even true. Plenty acknowledge an inexperienced coach, gaps in the squad, lack of attacking structure. But the grinding, relentless, sledgehammer criticism of every aspect of the organisation and indeed fanbase is tiresome. It's meaningless because there's no balance and derails threads onto Radford and the same knackered old refrain. The most pointless piece of all is multiple posting that they're not going anymore or don't care. A) We don't need telling ten times. It's their prerogative but only has impact once. Repeating it 50 times makes them look like an attention-seeker, and b) if they don't care, why keep posting? That makes you look unhinged. Not to mention hormonal when the week before they've been happy-clappers

Where did i bag the fan base (as we know the board is a tiny tiny proportion of Hull FC fans) and where did i say 10 times i aint going anymore.

Sadly Hull FC is a habit, and i cant kick it, although i'd like to kick it, second half against Leeds as example.

I tire of them, the garbage brings me down, costs me shed loads of cash i could plough into something worthwhile, maybe even profitable, but they are my club, i do care. But i'm far from happy.

Its pointless fans kicking lumps out of each other on here, unless you feel some personal gratification, or your life is devoid of anything else. I’ve already seen this board morph into reality (physical) once this season, and it’ll happen again if we stay the same.

As regards AP, a few thoughts.

Clearly nearly four years in we're well short of his original ambitions, both in terms of performance on the pitch and finances off it.

There are a few key factors for me. He bought the advice of McRae and this turned out to be poor and costly. We're still seeing the consequences of some of that. Gentle was an OK appointment but the consensus was that the cup run papered over cracks that were exposed as yawning chasms at Huddersfield on that night of humiliation. He's appointed a very inexperienced, and light numbers wise, back room staff in Radford, Horne and Last and I think it's Motu's first RL role. The challenge remains (as I talked to James Rule about) that in a salary cap era your key differential is coaching quality and as a lower club struggling to recruit like Leeds can on a discount, you'd be better over-investing in this area to catch up.

Obviously the Allam's stuff hasn't helped, nor the bullish claims of success round the corner. But investment in youth seems strong at least and I imagine merchandise is still robust.

From a squad perspective my main concern is our best players are all 32+ and I think if we survive there'll be quite a few changes to bed in this off season. As Radford's stated there's an expectation the likes of Thompson, Watts, Bowden, Green, Lineham will step up to form the core to be supplemented by overseas players. This is a bit patchy. A few major gaps next year. We desperately need a top centre IMO, a winger possibly and probably two good props (in addition to Taylor). Maybe a backup hooker depending how Cunningham goes.

The Radford story will resolve itself. Either things will pick up and he'll stay or they won't and he'll go. I hope it's the former. The issue with the latter is timing, I imagine we're already on with 2016 recruitment.

I wonder how many fans thought we would have more points then we have now before the season started ?If you think they should have eight points then to make a statement of "past caring" I could understand.There will not be anyone who supports our great Club who are not totally annoyed ,angry or whatever else you want to say with the second half performance last week..Its done with we need to look forward and hope we never see another half like that again.I am sure if Pearson could get world class players in he would have done so already,the reality is there are not that many out there who are available and if they were would want to come to Hull.This is down to were we are ,if we were in the middle of the country we would have had a far better chance,that I know as fact there have been a few targets who just did not want the travel or change of location. We all know that we have players who at this moment in time are not performing as well as they can but some of the criticism is way off the mark.It may well be a change of coach could bring better days and if that was guaranteed I would be the first to say do it.I think its more than just the coach ,my opinion is expectations since the Cup win has built up and lack of success has heaped more pressure on players that why teams like Castleford have played without fear and express themselves better because nobody even the fans expected anything.The same can be said about Wakfield always come here play well because there is no pressure.

That's pretty much the one thing that is a given. At least Pearson is [itrying[/i to improve things and actually spending some money on infrastructure and youth. He may have fallen short of his ambitions but at least he [ihas[/i ambitions.

Yet we acheived far more and also had a better team and played better rugby with her at the helm. Its only under Agash that things started going really wrong. This isnt me saying shes better than Pearson but Pearson has made some right feckin hash ups in his tenure and still continues to do so. Hes not the messiah some think he is

Which was under her stewardship, and the first thing Pearson acted upon to put right. It's not really fair to just pick out the peak years for comparison as if they were the norm for the duration, we had around 2003-2007 of good stuff, but 2008-2011 were where we really went down the pan and the previous setup did little to nothing to halt the slide. Pearson is 4 years in during very difficult circumstances, the last lot had over a decade so it's no surprise you can easily point to a more successful period within that. Whilst crediting them for that good period, you've also got to acknowledge that the subsequent mess was of their making and undid all those years (on the pitch, I mean) by failing to address it.

As much as I'm in a completely downbeat mood about the club at the minute, I'd also add that I feel this years Super League is about as competitive as it has ever been, with the drop to 12 teams. Even though I don't feel the top teams are quite as good as they were say 10 years ago, the overall competitiveness is better. There are no easy wins anymore, if you have an off day you get punished.
