Of course it doesn't. Nor will there be a clause in his contract to that effect. The fact that his contract may run until 31 October does not stop him signing for someone else from 1 November nor announcing who that someone else will be.

If we have signed him there is no good reason not to announce it. Our season and Rovers' season are over.

The only thing that worries me is that it hasn't been announced he's going somewhere else.
