Agreed they really need to take some positive action asap or they will lose those they are trying to win back. The last few months has been no different to the Agar/Hetherington/Rule era. Poor results, ordinary PR, to many soundbites and the promise of jam tomorrow.

Fed up of the 'wait til next year' motto of the club, we may as well get it put on the club crest, we pay our hundreds of £'s a year to see good rugby, not half-heated promises.

All of those things are in the main because their players are bigger and faster than ours. It's partly due to injuries and partly due to the fact that Hull FC's roster is about the 8th best in the league. 6 or 7 teams have better players than us. our near-term youth system hasn't produced enough and there aren't enough good players around to recruit. Mix all this together and we are where we are.

Agreed. Really disappointed in how we've capitulated in the last couple of months. We just don't seem capable of playing with any kind of intensity

Think they are as poor, out of form and disappointing as us in all honesty. This has got to be one of the least hyped derbies of the SL era.

hope O'Meley is back, even if he is only fit enough for 10-15mins, at least he has some size and aggression...rather than the limp and small set of forwards we are playing at the moment.

He did at the start of the season. There's been a lot of changes and it's ongoing. We're well and truly in transition. I need to see some top quality signings from this gang of 6 to be convinced that the transition has an end to it. I'll say now it's a 3 year job and this is year 1. There aren't enough available players at the right standard to do it any quicker than that.

I think he is but IMO he should be getting more out of the players he has

it's not the ability of the players Dobbo, it's the attitude, every team has average players but we have too many of them who can't be d, week in week out. Those who gave it good effort at the beginning of the season now look too tired and burnt out to keep it up ie Lynch, Houghton, and Horne, and a few others.

I agree it will take time, but we should still be doing better than we are now. Catalan away was always going to be a tough fixture, but losing to Rovers, Wakefield, Salford etc are very poor results.

Of course it's the ability of the players.

We have lost to Catalan, Leeds and Warrington in recent weeks who even with a full strength side we would have to have been at our best to get the win and hope they were having a off day in all honesty.

It's both ability and attitude.

Ability is not great in some and the attitude almost across the board stinks.

Throwing away a win at the Magic Weekend and at Wakefield were shocking results, and we have slipped back in all areas over the last few months. Our attack is poor, our defence porous, and the pack light and ineffective. There must be a massive improvement before the end of the season or there will be another dip in season pass sales.

Totally agree. They have better players than us. We are 7th or 8th finishers at best. Our so-called better players like Westerman, Seymour, Yeaman etc. don't play well enough or match their reputations.
