At least 2 years. And as Gentle alluded to earlier in the week you can't get away with putting lots of unproven youngsters in a team in SL. It's a man's game and some of these guys are boys. Only the very best succeed in this game and today we have had several as yet unproven young players playing against possibly the best men playing in the league. Not excuses just facts.

I get a bit of stick on here, but if you go back and read Kosh's posts, he contradicts himself that many times, and the worse thing is he never ever agrees with anything anyone has to say, unless it's someone agreeing to his post.

What pee's me off the most, most people agree with him, or lick his ass purely because he's a mod, or they keep their mouth shut.

The thing is, Kosh gets stick because others disagree with his opinion which is fair enough. Same goes with the negative vs positive fans. The worrying thing for you is that you get stick because you're plain thick.

After watching them last night I can't see Salford giving Leeds any kind of a game next weekend, but I really hope they come out firing and give them a rough time. It's going to need another almighty performance to get the points from that game in a fortnight.

Pretty much what I expected, shipped more points than I hoped for but not surprised. Ellis and Nicklas v Finch and Leuluai was the key mis-match IMO; some good efforts in the forwards especially Pitts who looks very much a Gentle style of play recruit. Moa and Lynch put in big stints again. I hope Martin is OK. Looks to me to be injured from the off.

We are now seeing, the non-investment by the previous regime into the youth team.

Now Pearson has pumped funds into the youth structure, fans have to be patient and realistic.

We will suffer the rollercoaster syndrome for some time yet.

I'm thick because most deluded s on here can't see past their Hull F.C tinted specs.

We are an average team fact, take away our better players we are a pile of e! We have a large fan base, big merchandise and high expectations from the fans to be a force in Superleague, but the past 4 seasons have been e, agar and auntie kath ruining the club and signing e players.

Manu, Tickle, Westerman, Yeaman, Briscoe, Moa, O'Meley, Mckinnon, Turner are excellent players.

Sharp (played well of late), Horne, Seymour, Whiting, Ellis, Martyn, Lyne, not good enough imho.

We have O'Meley, Moa, Manu possibly going at the end of the season, and certain players rumored to go back to aus, take them players out of the equation, add Ellis who we just signed, coupled with the fact we'll still probably give Horne another bloody contract.

Do the maths.

SO I was a little harsh on Whiting, apologies... I should have said "He's a work horse, he's played well in the past, he's getting on now and he's heading towards the end of his career, he's a good utility player, utilizing him when we have injuries, but for me he's still not good enough, i'm not one for sentiment, like the club seem to be with Horne....

Infact i'de rather have Whiting than Horne.

expected result today, our halves never got a sniff because our pack was always on the back foot from minute 1, when they did, both ellis and nicklas looked average at best

Just because you regularly get your ar[is[/ie handed to you on a plate is not the fault of Kosh. Just re-read your quoted post and you'll have all the evidence you need. I think you'll find that the vast majority of people would only agree with people who agree with them, look up the word in the dictionary, if you [idisagree[/i with me.

The injuries are not an excuse for a poor performance but they are a compelling reason. Citing the fact that we had 8 regular 1st teamers playing still doesn't detract from the fact that the majority of the squad today were not regular 1st team players.

He was poor along with Manu.Agree about the halfs though.....they got totally outplayed by Wigans halves.Agar and the previous ar$eholes have put our youth structure at least 2yrs behind everyone else by not playing them...none of our youngsters have had any exposure to this level of the game and we are now being found wanting but this will be very good experience for them.

Have you ever got anything good to say about Hull FC or only when they win????

I went today and to see those young kids against a FULL STRENGTH WIGAN TEAM I knew we were never gonna win. I expected a thrashing but the fans got behind them. All you can do is call them. You are not a true loyal fan. Those were young kids put out there because of injuries. Some their first couple of games in SL and against a top team, not London or Widnes, it was WIGAN!!!!

They need time to develop like all players do. Remeber Lee Crooks, Gary Schofield from 17 onwards played in the team and look how good they became. Or maybe you wont remember that far back.

I admire these kids for playing AND I WENT TO THE GAME AND CHEERED THEM ON COS I AM A LOYAL FAN.

You cant call what you dont see and only hear on the radio.

Get a life, the kids need a boost and encouragement.
