Three days...three different threads...and not even a serious attempt to explain Adam Pearson's position of supporting the Allams on Stadium ownership!

Are people genuinely mystified?

Whatever Pearson I'm sure it's for the good of the the club he owns.

Pearson has done more than enought of earn the trust of FC fans.

Fair enough.

But, if the 'trusted' Pearson is singing off the same hymnn sheet, why the hysterical outcries over what Allam is attempting to do?

Firstly he's doing what any employee would do back his boss in public.

What he is saying to the press he's saying with full knowledge that the council are unlikely to change their position on the sale of the KC on Allams terms.

You also have too consider the fact that Pearson knows the terms of our lease at the KC and more than likely will know that Allam has very little if any chance of removing Hull FC from the KC if the unlikely event of Allam managing to actually gaining ownership happened...

In all seriousness what do you expect him to say when asked to go on the radio as a City representative?? He has probably looked at it and seen at present there is no way the project will get the go ahead in the near future (possibly even distant future) so nothing wrong with agreeing with the idea of a sporting complex.

If Pearson started rambling on about it like Assem Allam in such an incoherent way then maybe and only then would I start to worry slightly, but for now he has done nothing to worry me about.

It was clear by what Burnsey said afterwards that Pearson was 'Sent' by Allam! he's his blooming employer?

Then nows the time for Pearson to step away from City, imo. I said right from the off conflict of interests and this whole debacle has just proved that.

Why is it a conflict of interests? nothings happened or likely to happen.

Under this Labour Council - but the Lib Dems would have sold the KC tomorrow if they could. I would much prefer our owner to concentrate soley on Hull FC right now. Its a new business venture for him and would much have him focused on RL than both teams.

Strategically, it is better for pearson to stay in situ at city where he has allam's ear and, no doubt, some influence

Allam does himself no favours with the comments he has come out with over that last 18 months. He has shown his word is not to be taken after saying he would not invest in either rugby club then a few months later loaning Rovers 1M. Other comments like us costing him money by playing at the stadium, which he then contradicts by saying he wants us there if he gets the stadium.
Thos type of comments are why he is called a Loon. When Pearson spoke about the stadium it sounded like a completely different plan because he is articulate and knows what to say and what not to say.
I still have reservations about Pearson and will continue to do so whilst he works for Allam. Also after the Lloyd affair I am always sceptical about any owners, luckily whilst the ground is not owned by rugby or football club owners we have a good safety net at least.

He explained that by allowing FC to play in "his" stadium (you know the one we pay for and have a pre-existing tennancy agreement that he knew about when he bought the SMC) IIRC, so it all balanced out in the end.

I had a word with a few friends who work within the council and they backed up what Coddy had stated. Council assets having to sold for the best deal possible and can not be just handed out to anyone. A few years ago Westminster councillors where surcharged £27 million, raised to £42 million for gerrymandering. The Tory leader of the Council Lady Shirley Porter ( Tesco founders daughter ) settled her debt £12.3 million in 2004. I do not think that ex docker Terry as anything like that sort of cash laid about in his North Hull home.


Even if the coucillors wanted to give the Allams the stadium the district auditor would have intervened and would do so in the future.

In 8 years, at a rate of a little under 10 posts a day. Hardly an all-consuming obsession.

On the other hand our new best friend spends his time posting on the board of a club he doesn't support in a vain attempt to wind people up.

At last, someone who isn't trying to kick the issue into the long grass.

Pearson, publicly at least (and for all we know privately) is supporting this perceived 'loon' in his efforts to obtain outright KC ownership, even though it's against the overwhelming wishes of Hull FC's fans.

At best, there is a clear conflict of interests...at worst, there is something more machiavellian going on.

The undercertainty and conspiracy theories will persist until he cuts his ties with Hull City and the Allams!

We all know Allam wants sole ownership of the KC Stadium, whilst Adam Pearson has spoken publicly that he wants that to happen too.

So, why are Hull FC fans dismissing one as an agenda-driven 'loon' while the other is feted as a 'trusted' messiah?

You've got to admit it is a salient question surely? And, as of yet, I've not heard a sensible answer.
