Seriously, all great programmes, don't see anything like them anymore.

I was only saying to the misses the other day about how programmes are nowhere near as good now as they were years ago. Not only adult programmes but kids TV as well. I'm 42 now so I can remember watching Bagpus, The Clangers (class), Why Dont You, The magic Roundabout, Runaround and Crackerjack. Theres loads more but their names escape me.

The Happening is an awful film, don't waste your time.

And Grange Hill. Zammo's bird Jackie was such a babe

The programme from my avatar is still one of my favs though. The Young Ones was cult viewing in the early eighties and its a shame only two series were made. I've got them on DVD and still watch them occasionally to raise my mood after a poo day at work. Neil Neil orange peel!

I'm from a slightly later generation but agree on the kids TV stuff. I used to watch He-Man, Thundercats, Transformers, inspector gadget, SuperTed and Knightmare. There was Andi Peters in the broom cupboard and Philip Schofield had dark hair on going live with Gordon the gopher.

Christ, Almost forgot about Danger Mouse and Rainbow, Tony Hart and Morph.

My children watched those also Teenage Mutant Turtles..

Gordon the gofa had nothing on Rod Hull & Emu...Roland Rat or Basil Brush

Sparticus was quality and still worth a watch even though you know the ending. You need to watch Gods of the Arena which starts next Monday night. Its sort of season 2 but is a prequel so everything that happens is the story from before Sparticus, its exellent.

Best 'kids' program ever. Without exception.

A new series starts soon. Caught a couple of ads for it while in the USA. Looks like a 'reboot' with more detail on what happened before they left their own planet.

The only cartoon I disliked was Roadrunner...mii mii!!

My favourite was Bugs Bunny...Elma Thud "wun wabbitt, wun wabbit!"

I also like that one with Penelope Pitstop but I forgot the name.
