Really think this year will be the straw that breaks the camels back for a lot of people

the last time we had a really awful season was 2009: but the board splashed out on O'Meley, Fitzgibbon and Long...players who have a massive collection of honours/medals and also shipped out a lot of the 'trouble causers' from the squad...and that tempted everyone to re-new again for 2010. They don't have any surprise big name signings up their sleeve this time to keep us happy and after 4 years of struggle people are just cynical and fed up.

also as I have already mentioned in the thread, as the East Stand has become less popular, there is even less reason to buy a pass. Before I bought a pass because not buying one meant being left with a choice of unreserved seats at the end of the stands, or sitting in the West with its 'Lunar' atmosphere. As things stand I don't think it'll be a tough job to get seats together bang in the middle of the East stand next season anyway.

For many and most likely me included the only way I am likely to renew my pass next season is if the club part company with Agar. We need a quality appointment at Head Coach level as enough is enough.

I'm not sticking up for Agar, I would rather not talk about my opinions on that, but would you or one of the other data gatherers be willing to show Morgan in Super League and Terry Matterson up against Richard Agar please?

I'm not sure how those stats will come out but I am pretty certain Morgan will be about the same as Agar and Matterson better than both.


He is gonna be out of a job next year (TM), would he be the man to bring some success to the club?

With respect, we are a far bigger club than Rovers or Cas. Our coach should have a far better record than their's.

Neither TM or JM have set SL alight with the teams they coach nor have they won anything in SL so for me neither are of the calibre that a club with ambition & a desire to win should go for, question is does this apply to Hull FC presently even the size of them as a club as we are distinctly lacking in ambition and desire.

I'm thinking more of the record Matterson has with a side that is considered much weaker than Hull's.

And Morgan because the Rovers fans are big on taking the pee about Agar yet I am not sure his record is much better if anything.


Terry Matterson is very well thought of in Australia and if he wants a job in October I would of thought he would be the single best candidate for the job.

When a friend of mine spoke to Terry Matterson about a job at the start of this season he mentioned running at around 65%-70% of the cap last year.

I dont think he would be spending to the cap this season either.

All I am suggesting is that a very well respected coach who is technically very clued up and has done pretty well with a much poorer squad than Hull's may well thrive with a bigger playing squad and better facilities etc.

Have watched them train plenty of times, in particular in the wrestle room at Fev, and the guy is pretty good and his players are a pretty tight bunch.

Seems odd to me that a coach who is arguably the most experienced coach in SL
1, is regularly a guest of KH recently.
2, had dinner with our leader and a player recently (aledgedly

3, has taken an open ended position as an advisor with a championship side meaningn he can leave at any time.
4, has turned down 2 other SL jobs since leaving Wigan...
5, said he wants to run a sleeping giant of super league who should be table toppers .

it has seemed that way over recent years hasnt it, however i guess FC hasnt been know as a club that has much patience either and we have certainly shown that to our current gaffer..

the only other coach I can remember us giving so much time to is McRae, and to be fair we were playing good attacking rugby and developing young talent under McRae's reign (even if we lacked the cutting edge to go on and win something)
