Sharpe has bags of enthusiasm, unfortunately it is not enough he is no better than Hally for me, weak defensively he needs to drastically improve imo.

Much better than Hall,

In the last 2 seasons at Hull, Hall was poor in defence and attack, he make too many errors with the ball in hand as well as his defence.

Sharp works harder, makes more yards, tackle busts etc.

Hall every ten games would score a good try, and this blinded the fans into thinking he was some kind of magician with the ball.

Would have Sharp over Hall on the wing everyday of the week.

Couldn't agree more Dave, I like Hall but he's no winger.

At the moment I would count him as a backup SL centre with potential, but will he every furfill that potential.

Looks like he will be playing this weekend at centre, going to be very tough defending against Yeaman, Manu and Briscoe, like we did against saints with Eastmond i would keep them running at him early doors.

I agree but in fairness to Hall he is a centre.

Sharp gets way too much flak, he does most things very well. Yes he makes mistakes but so does every other player.

He also gets blamed for other people's mistakes. At the Giants match some old biddy behind me was blaming him for Brough's try.

I agree Paul he does certain things well, however if you watch him his major flaws come from his positioning, if he sorted that area out I am sure he would improve, but like I say he has a lot to do to impress me tbh.

Because for a lot of the time he's covering 2 positions (centre/wing)

I agree that his inside defenders should take some blame.

The fact against Hudds we lost Horne on the right messed up that side even more than usual from a defensive point of view.
