Something else you'll notice looking through this thread, is that you're the only non-Hull FC fan constantly posting about him. Again, I'm worried by this.

correct,not an FC fan - great bunch of fans though and have lots of mates in the area from both sides of the divide,even stayed up in the Springbank area in the 70s for a while.

i'm a RL fan first & foremost and any club with your fanbase deserves respect,sorry my honesty gets up your nose.

FWIW,I think I have gone 'off topic' several times to praise FC ie: "well done FC on another great performance" a few postings ago etc

Whilst I would be devastated if he were to leave, it would be a fantastic career move for him. There is no questioning the lifestyle is fantastic over there. However, for a 21 year old to up sticks and move to the other side of the world, knowing no-one, is a huge ask and not many would/could do it. Myler wouldn't even cross the pennines

Quite right, wether it fits some posters remit or not he is a family lad that is for certain and he understands he has still allong way to go , he will sign again at FC after his current deal i am sure as he loves the club and they consider him one of the FC crown jewels... he may go to the NRL or Union one day as he would shine anywhere but for now he is FC through and through

If he wants to improve his game then Wigan,Sts or Leeds will do that.....a stint down under will do him good as well.

could be a great career move for him but but regarding 'the lifestyle being fantastic over there',that's a matter of opinion - some people love it and some hate it and can't wait to get back.
No different to aussies or kiwis coming to europe - some love it some don't.Long distance relationships get strained and sometimes suffer.

I think if a young player REALLY wants to try his luck in Australia the club would almost be better supporting them than fighting it - let them go for a year on a "loan" or something and let them come back a better player. Best result all round in the long run.

Hope you're right he's already at a big club.

Thats what many tend to forget , that clubs dont come much bigger anywhere on the planet than FC if at all.. the lad is settled, his family are looking after his career just nicely right now and neither he or his agent has no wish for him to move!!
and FC WOULD outbid anyone for his sig, he is that well thought of
