to be fair lauaki was targetted by the giants and they made sure he had no room to move down the middle with fast line speed and 3-4 players in the tackle but when he played out wide i think he showed his quality when setting hall for the try and looks devastating

Agree..Hudds had the personnel to deal with Hame..however I am sure he will run amok with some teams

really enjoyed the running battle between hame and shirley! Think its fair to say Crabtree won this round but no shame in that! Big daddy is a tough guy who doesnt get the credit he deseres because he looks like an elve from Lord of the Rings. id play him out wide becasue thats were he plays his best rugby simple as .

I can see Witt kicking alot to Briscoe in this game, Briscoe isn't the best in defending kicks which come into our in goal area as he isn't tall at all. Vince Mellors scored three nearly exact tries from cross field kicks by Witt and Raynor scored one too which could of also been Mellors fourth.

kicking to Briscoe is a gamble i would not like to take slight chance he'll drop it but if he catches it you have to deal with him returning the ball. Doesnt that Mellors play on the left so he's goning to be up against Whiting or Hall both tall lads. Need to stop them getting in possition to be able to put in these type of kicks and get in Whitts face if they do I think it'll be a tough game!

If Calders is fit we could have a couple of grudge matches with Calders v Raynor one from a few years ago and also Burnett v Lee.

I'd imagine Thacks to want to get at our props too. Unfortunately that might just level the playing field a little bit.
