McRae is concerned over interest in Myler from bigger Clubs.

Can't say I have seen Finch play, but many OZ supporters think he is pants.
He can be good with the right players around him, like C Cronk and C Smith.

He is a good player, the standard of halfback in the NRL is much higher then here, he is probabally more at home at 6 rather then halfback but he would give us a lot of direction from halfback and would probabally be the best 7 over here, that says it all about about the difference in quality. I think many Aussie fans would say he is over rated rather then pants, possibly due to him being selected at 7 for Origin which even with NSW injury problems was still dubious, but he showed himself up well, he is our best realistic option in my opinion.

finch is going to huddersfield. monaghan back to the nrl. orford to wigan, myler to wire and long to salford. kimmorley is staying in oz and thurston is just trying to get a better deal over there. we've made an offer to fein which it looks like he will probably accept.

Jake the peg can be a bit more specific, all the other clubs want them scrum halfs and will go out to make sure they get them, hull will settle for what ever is left after they have been snapped up as.

While I dont believe there is anyway anyone could know all that, I think that all of the above are likely to happen, maybe Orford and Myler could be swapped around as Wire have been chasing Orford long term.

Fein would make a good super league halfback and would be a big improvement on what we have, but if he is our halfback signing considering the other likely halfback movement we can officially consider ourselves in the same bracket as a club as the likes of Wakefield, Celtic and Salford.

Even if thats the case and the negotiations are heading that way, I still find it hard to believe that all those deals have been fully agreed, circumstances change and clubs will always come in at the last minute for players which could affect the whole "merry go round", for what its worth though I wouldnt be suprised if they all did come off, and again we come off second rate.

Saints are only offering Long a 1 year deal cos they are probably looking to make a bid for Thurston in 2011. Long said if he can get a 2 year deal anywhere else, he'd be tempted to leave Saints.

They're obviously not all signed sealed and delivered but that's what he told me is going to happen and he's never far wrong

No but he's hardly 2nd rate as the poster called him, it's just typical of (some) people on here, the minute we are linked with a player they are classed as 2nd rate despite what they have already achieved.

I quite like Fien as a player and think he would do a good job, but out of all those halfbacks likely to move he will probabally be the least in demand.
