Finishing 4th is no great advantage over finishing 5th and I can't see the point of risking unfit players just to finish the regular season in the "top 4".

Actually both will be playing next week unless they have an injury in training.
as for Craigs injuries.
1, Shoulder.. had issue before he signed, in fact two years before he signed. no worse than before but needs a clean out
2, hip issue... bruised nothing more than any other players in SL.
3, Achillies.. has again suffered with his achillies for years nothing new.

oh and by the way MO was on the training paddock last week too
Both will be assessed on Monday again on Thursday but should play !!

Fitz and ogre both have some old injuries which cause them problems from time to time, but they'll both be back for the quins match unless something happens between now and then, in which case they may not.

longy is coming along well and should be back for the play offs, maybe the last match of the regular season, unless his rehab doesn't go to plan then we may see him back or not.

calders not as bad as first thought. May actually see him in a black and white shirt again this season unless he doesn't recover in time. May leave at the end of the season or may stay on

Big advantage finishing 4th over 5th. If you finish 4th you have the advantage of getting away with a defeat whereas finishing 5th means your in sudden death from the outset.

4th would likely mean wigan away followed a week later by leeds at home, whereas 5th would mean wakey/cas at home followed by a trip to headingley/knowsley road to take on a leeds or saints side who have been battered by wigan a week earlier.

Would love a home play off game against leeds though. If marketed correctly could hit 20k
