yeah because we have signed 3 players, but bailey (one of our top earners) phelps, riddell and feka (another one of our top payed) are all on the way out. as well as possibly coley, fielden and pryce all out. if fielden is signed back up it will be on a much reduced contract, so thats effectively 4 players, plus fielden on reduced terms to bring in 3 players. i would be suprised if we were near the cap next season, there are rumours that we are able to bring another NRL player.

but it was obvious that other teams fans would automatically say we are over the cap as soon as we sign anyone. as i say, it wouldnt suprise me if we had enough cap space left to bring in another player (plus a mid season return for hock).

The point I am getting accross is not everyone will go somewhere just because there family member played there or is a legend there.

As far as I see it, wigan need a hooker next season and Leuluai as he is under contract will be that.
