Plenty of our derbies are shown on TV, they can't show every one and its 1st vs 2nd.

Although at times there match picking has left a little to be desired this year.

I can't imagine why showing a game with a full house and terrific atmosphere would appeal to anyone watching on sky, I mean give me Harlequins vs Crusaders in front of an alleged 2300 anyday!!!

Too fooking right, I haven't missed watching a derby game since they got in SL, either at the gound or on TV, the end sky game for thet weekend wont be picked until the 28th June, so dont be suprised to see it moved to sat or Sun for Sky.

I think it is the 2nd best game of that weekend.

Bloody better do it havent seen a live Hull game for ages and have just found 2 legal sites to show the games.

Not fussed if it is on Sky or not and the logical choice would be 1st vs 2nd. Shame for those abroad if it isn't on though.

I know exactly how they feel missing the games so i still have sympathy for them even if they are in much better places

Im gutted it wont be shown on Sky. I can understand the top 2 game being shown instead. However, I wonder if Sky would have shelved a Saints v Wigan 'derby' in favour of a top two clash? (obviously if the said teams were not the top two teams at the time)

all thats been confirmed is that Wigan v Wire will be on friday and that this will be the 1st uk rugby league game shown in 3d. nothing has been decided for the other tv game that weekend.

The fact that the derby game is scheduled for the same day and time means it won't be on. Could Sky move game to Sat or Sun at short notice? Would be a massive mess about for many people if they did. I doubt that will happen.

the word 'provisional' springs to mind.if sky decide that they want to broadcast the game live,then it will be moved and to a date they require.

Wigan v warrington isnt guarenteed to be a top two clash, although wigan will still probably be top warrington could be 3rd or 4th.

Ask on the quins board if sky can move games with short notice.

No they can`t . Humberside Police have told SKY it can`t be moved. Clipper race finish and other events to Police over that weekend.

If they can have a game on during hull fair I'd very suprised if they can't move the game because of the clipper race.

The Clipper Race will attract about 100,000 people to Hull that weekend, Hull Fair attracts a few gypsies with some gyroscopes.

tha standard home game is Friday night, the hospitality etc. for the Dervy will have been sold on that basis.

And the unfortunate truth is it's only FC and KR fans that see it as a big game, everyone else sees it as just another weekly round.

Hull fair has around 80,000 per day visiting doesn't it?
