TBF it was in answer to a question of "who's to blame, Agar, the players or the board?" and he said he thought the blame for yesterday lay squarely with the players and their shambolic efforts in defence in the first 20. He then backed it up with the comments on the detail that each player gets on their opposite number, but didn't specifically mention a gameplan.

There's an interview with Mark O'Meley in the HDM tomorrow, where he says when he's arriving, and says that he won't be taking any nonsense from anyone. Which is why the forthcoming clearout is much needed. If we have to put up with so called pro players spitting their dummy out for a few weeks so be it. The club has hopefully, at long last, recognised the error of its ways in recruitment and showing loyalty to players who have given precisely nothing back. What I would like to see now is the list of those departing published well before the end of the season. Where possible those players should not be selected - at least the fans would understand why. Let's get it out in the open - it would be like an admission by the club that all has not been well but at least it is being addressed. If the club shows itself to be sorting out these issues once and for all it might just bring club and supporters a bit closer together as another failing season draws to a close.

this has to be one of the better options for the remainder of this shambolic season forget playoffs blood some of the deserved u21's look what good it did for burnett, houghton,not forgetting Briscoe....... we would end up with something positive at the end of it, reward good performance from the u21's, give them at least an experiance, of first team game time..
