Bit personal,surely not up to the job of head coach would of been sufficient enough??

2 games for me. must win one and both perfomances need to be 100% better than recent ones.

It would cost Hull money to sack Agar, but they will lost a whole lot more in Season pass sales if we carry on like this, the Hull fans patiance has been excellent the last 2 years, but it wont last much longer.

I agree with you there. I'm obviously not his biggest fan, as witnessed by my previous post, but on the couple of occasions I've spoken to him I have found him to be a decent honourable guy. Its his inability to coach at the upper level of SL that is my gripe (only my opinion obviously).
I don't think it is particularly big or clever to resort to personal insults about a guy whom most posters barely know from Adam.

Whether you express it in a personal way or not, Mr. Agar has now proved that he is not a suitable coach for a top club that wants to compete at the top level.

I am sick to death of hearing about "learning lessons", "cutting out mistakes", "playing less dumb rugby", "increasing intensity" etc. etc. etc. blah blah blah.

The top and bottom of it is that we have just lost to last years worst two teams and we have actually made them look good in the process. Were these two games just another two "blips" ??





Our current squad "should be" a top four squad but with Agar in charge we are going to tamely limp into the play-offs with no chance whatsoever of ultimate success.

listen I wont fall out with you over it ok, you have done wonders for the club and fundraising etc and this rant isnt about you so why have you chirped in as if it is are you his PR man or something??
But the facts are no matter what spin you put on Agar after Salford he is clearly clueless as a coach or a motivator, I for one have defended him over and over during two awful seasons to allow the numptie to have a chance and prove he is up to the job and along with the vast majority of other FC fans can now clearly see he is not up to the job in any way shape or form!!

I have also met him a couple of times also and found him to be a nice fella in the few minutes I spoke to him, however I am not his lovechild and I would rather have a nasty SOAB that couldnt give a monkeys about speaking to fans as long as the team I spent hundreds of pounds each season to follow were playing a decent brand of RL which FC are NOT!!
AND given the chance I would tell him to his face too!!
This isnt about your relationship with Agar wolfie not one bit but it is about a grade A foottie team looking like NL1 contenders, like it or lump it mate but thats how many of us feel , I guess you did listen to what everyone was saying after the Salford match !!! !!!

i agree,but like ive said i dont see many threads on here slating the players from last night,seems when e lose people automaticaly steam into agar cos they cant think of anyone else to shove the blame on,when we win tho nowts said about him,maybe he isnt the right man for the job and will be replaced anytime soon.

I doubt there can be many fans now who have even a glimmer of faith in Agar now, shocking shocking shocking.
Salford and co should be meat and potatoes and points in the bag to a club like FC, and when these lower level clubs do pull off a decent win as they do every year WHY THE FOOK DOES IT ALWAYS HAVE TO BE AGAINST US????

TBF Wolfie if you read the threads they are critical of the players...however at some point you have to accept the responsibility lies at Agars feet..

He fails to drop players who are constantly performing poorly...(Briscoe)..yet drops others at the drop of a hat..(Hall)

We have one of the best players I have ever seen..(Fitz)..Agar is flogging the man to death, yet fails to utilise..Washy & Moa hardly, in order to rest Fitz..He never even spells Fitz in a game..but take Berro off every bl00dy game!!

His away record is poor, his selections are poor, his interchanges are poor...

And I have supported him and defended him but I am afraid he appears to be failing.

You're not looking hard enough. There's been plenty of criticism of the players, both as individuals and a group. The simple fact is, though, that when a side with a large proportion of new players demonstrates all the same faults that the last group of players exhibited, the finger of blame is going to get pointed at the one common factor. The coach.

He has a point. There is absolutely no reason for personal insults, either about Agar or other posters. This is an area you seem to struggle with all the time. Civility costs nothing.

You really only have to look at Wigan this season to see what difference a coach can make.

McGuire inherited virtually the same side that Noble left last year - but they're obviously in a completely different league to last season.

Same players - utterly different level of motivation. Roberts being the finest example. Only one person can be responsible for that and that's the coach. Many thought Noble was hard done to last season after taken Wigan to decent play-off runs for the last two seasons (a finer record than Agar's it must be said) but Wigan's board has clearly been vindicated for their "brave" decision.

If Hull are going to do this then they need to make that decision sooner rather than later. I've got a big feeling of deja vu now, and guess Agar won't need more than the Easter period to confirm for me that this season is going the same way as the last two. If that's proven, the board must be brave and act then, I'm afraid.

I do, however, sincerely hope that I am wrong and we blast Rovers off the CP pitch, hammer Wire into the KC park then go and show the "Champions" why it's Bluey that should be the first coach to go. But who really thinks that is going to happen now?
