The right wing looked stronger when Martin was on. Sharp (literally) flailing a bit in defence when left to tackle by himself. Both he and Turner looked good going forward, though. Sharp looking confident under the high ball too.

Martin should start every week, for me. Am a bit concerned that Turner's game time seems to indicate that Gentle is wavering between the two. However, didn't see Martin and the end with the rest of the players. I hope he didn't pick up an injury?

Am VERY excited by McKinnon so far.

Has he been full time for 2 years though ? Powerful runner but looked knackered after 5 minutes.

Its possible he just may not possess the engine of a professional athlete, I could spend a year full time with the best conditioner in the world and I still wouldn't be that fit.

We look a lot better in defence with Martin next to Sharp, Turner got caught a couple of times.

No, he's been part time and at college. Seems to have all the ingredients but really needs to pull it all together this season.

agree with comments about our forwards lack of metres. We do have elima, whitehead, Langley, koppy, manuokafoa and lestrange to come into the pack though. Im under no illusions though, we need alot of improvement.

He was only part time until recently though. He was completely unfit when I saw him last year and he'll take a year or 2 of full time training and playing to get fully fit IMO

Worse thing today for me was the prat sat behind me with his two kids. Took him almost 20 minutes into the game to realised that it wasn't our home kit, but was the testimonial kit.
Also his lad going on and on about how many stretchers the the club will go through just after the injury to Langley and then to mention the injury to Galea, saying he's out for 12 weeks isn't he? Only for his dad to say 'I thought it was 3 months?'

Thought Bradford were trying very hard to shut Westerman down, he slung the ball out well a couple of times, ingredients there just needs to get settled into LF and get fully match fit again imo

Thought Westerman was quiet but think better when he gets use to linking up with seymour and also when pitches get firmer he seemed better last year

Who has allowed both Rovers and Bradford to play in white shirts? Its irritating to watch, I can't imagine how annoying it must be for the players when they break the line, have a split second to find support and all they see is a flood of white shirts.

Happy with the performance today, much improved from last week.

McKinnon was my man of the match, some great support play and oozes confidence which has not always been the case of course with Hull fullbacks in recent times...

I do so like watching people from last week squirming after the obvious improvement since last week.

Its going to take time for a proper coach to undue all the damage done in recent seasons, not that many understand and are expecting to visit Old Trafford this season. Strange that they gave the last lot, years with little or no prospect of any finals let alone silverware and now they seem to think its got to happen on the first match.

Can't wait to get back to my regular seat either, was cringey at times what I was hearing!

we thought hay was lynch at first, but realised it was lynch, guess some people are easily vexed off by some of us not realising who was the trainers on the pitch!

After a rusty first 15/20 mins we started to boss the game.Several good performances,especially McKinnon,Horne and O'Carroll,and Sharp's confidence is a key factor for me.

Hoping he goes with Martin and Sharp on the right, but as someone said on here, Turner got a lot of minutes today - anyone know if Martin was injured?

I'm worried he might be injured - didn't come out second half or with the players at the end to clap.
