I support my team through thick and thin, not fecking moan about the slightest thing too pull the club down.

I would call it a stutter but not in freefall as some seem to think on here.

Bit more than a stutter, but the club itself is healthy as a whole. The playing/coaching aspect is poor IMO but we all have differing views on that. Training facilities would be a good thing to sort out, however the clubs first priority was to get our club to be at least self sufficient and making a profit has been a massive bonus.

Now we have the debt sorted, we can now look long term at sorting out some dedicated training facilities, which in all fairness we have done and these were scuppered at the last minute for various reasons. You cannot just conjure up stuff like this it takes time, planning permissions etc need sorting out. Just look at how long it has taken other teams to find places for stadiums etc and the long drawn out process they have gone through. Training facilities are pretty much the same and require you to find an appropriate site as, then see if planning permission etc would be granted.

The club have come a long way since the Lloyd era and continues to improve...... now lets get the team sorted

I'd still feel the same way if we do that shower from District 9 on sunday, infact it'd irk me more as people will see the win, and not the things the club should be doing.

An owened training facility is key, what about aiming to set up a "school of excellence" a la the FA

Or even aim to build something that might even tempt the RFL to base the national team here as a training base. (and if someone comes back on that and says "Leeds is perfect, centre of M62 for players etc" then have a look at yourself.

We are only restricted by our dreams and ambitions, so why should these be limited?

Im with you mate,the trouble is some people are happy to just have a team,others we went from 12th to 6th,some that we make money. Me at the start of each season I want us to be able to challenge for honours on both fronts if anybody hand on hearts think were capable of that there fools. I look at wire's squad and more there overseas contingent in hodgson,monas x 2,king,anderson and there is real quality there with strength in depth waiting in the wings. We were told let agar build his own team and to be fair to him he had to get rid of some bad apples but imo the squad as a whole isn't upto to top 4 standards,some good indvidcual players but nothing in the wire,wigan mould. Everyone has there own opinion and expectation mine is if it was a school report it would could do better and perenial under achievers. Make no mistake we have the potential to be the biggest club in super league but imo we take the safe,easy option because the bod know there under no real pressure because we carry on pouring record money into merchandise,season pass sales,turn nearly every away game into a virtual home game and just think were being held back and instead of being contenders were pretenders. Fwiw I don't expect to win any of the 1st 3 games and I think the club will be under pressure and will be intresting to see what happens then,because if we do struggle and with a massive chunk to spend for next season we need to have a coach in place who is going to get the recruitment spot on otherwise its going to be another couple of seasons of failure. Just my opinons of course and east hull fc fan just because mine differ to yours doesn't mean in right and I don't bag you everytime you have a posotive slant on things. But you will see the light in the end

Having looked through the Warrington squad, I don't see where all these half back options are. If at any point briers and myler were injured at the same time, they would be moving players around that would normally start for them. Don't get me wrong their squad is better than ours but they don't have a million halves waiting in the wings.

Monaghan,bridge,clarke just to name 3,also hodgson could move upto 6 were as we have?

Washbrook, Whiting, Phelps, Turner, Westerman, Williams and Nicklas.

You make SOME valid points, but you don't seem to understand that it runs deeper than Agar over the last 2 and a half years.
It's almost like you expect the mess that Kear and Sharpe left to be cleaned up in 2 off seasons.
The people that you so eloquently call "fools" on here are actually the true realistic ones. I certainly don't expect to be challenging because we have a god given right as a big club, you have to build to success and Kear and Sharpe left a hell of a building site.

Have you not noticed what happened at Hudds, Wigan and Wire ? It was done in much less than "two off seasons" and it involved appointing a quality coach and then backing him with the money and ambition to put together a quality squad that is capable of winning silverware.

By the way, just in case you haven't noticed, we are as big or bigger than all of the aforementioned clubs

Bridge is a good player, doesn't get the credit he deserves. I like Washy but I'd be more than happy to have Bridge in our squad too.

If you think the only problem was/is the coach then you're gravely mistaken. There squads were, and in 2 instances still are better than ours. Kear and Sharpe messed the club up with their recruitment/ retention. My argument is that if people think it only takes 2 off seasons to get it right then they are not being realistic.
