Was talking to Pittsy on Sunday and he is well chuffed to have signed for us. The lad is really buzzing and looking forward to getting some game time.
He reckons Peter Gentle has got something good going and is VERY impressed by the whole team ethic and the morale in the club. He was looking forward to starting training on Monday and I wasted no time in telling him that supporters would crawl over broken galss for a derby win - he laughed and said that's what he expected and would be going for it.

On the topic of Jay Pitts, not an earth shattering signing by any means but a decent one.
I think it's worth (or lack thereof) will become more apparent as the shape of next pack becomes clearer.
Hopefully should add a bit more experience to our pack if he playing the derby.

When Leeds signed Pitts from Wakefield he was the biggest thing since sliced bread.It seems Leeds never give the kid a chance.At Hull he will be given that chance to show what a good player he really is. I have a feeling it could bite Leeds on the bum. |
