Like Trawlerman, I'm not a big fan of friendlies and usually don't bother. But Kirk is a great role model for kids, like my young lad, that want to be professionals when they grow up. He's passionate, loyal to his club and a model pro.
Despite not being the 'classiest' centre, he'll go down as a great of the club and one of the first of the post boulevard era.

Holdsworth and Heremaia more like!! I think the only time Seymour plays this year will be when Holdsworth is injured. Seymour will obviously play a part in the friendlies, but for the season it will be Holdsworth and Heremaia/Horne.

Heremaia will not be playing in the halves unless due to injuries. It'll be Holdsworth and Seymour.

Cant see that happening, heremaia and houghton will share the hooking role i reckon

We will soon find out, but from what I have been told Seymour is behind Horne and Heremaia in the pecking order.

I reckon it'll be nailed on that Holdsworth and Seymour will be the first choice partnership. I know squad numbers don't mean everything but Seymour could of quite easily been given the 14 jersey with Horne getting the 7 jersey.
Heremaia will stay at hooker along with Houghton, Horne will be back up half.

As I say just what I've been told mate. Also Whiting has spent a lot of time training at loose, with Westerman training more in the 2nd row.

On the Met Office website they've got light snow for Hull early Sunday morning so nothing to worry about. HDM doing the typical newspaper thing of making the forecast look worse than it actually is.

Since when has the Met Office or newspapers got the weather right?

Exactley, we only need to worry when the forecast that there will not be any sort of bad weather storm as normally when they say a weather front is going to miss us it usually is the opposite.

But then again first game of the season always to be expected a drop in temperature I guess

we had heavy snowfall the night before the warrington opener last season when most of the country had none, kept the wire fans out of trouble though playing in it like kids ;p!
