as a proud rovers fan i have just had a look at the incident and yes something lands near the feet of the ref if its a coin or not objects should never been at the pitch or players...

So apart from the opportunity to come back with comedy replies to this post, only a couple of people have actually replied as to whether or not something was thrown. Who ws it thrown at: Silverwood or Tickle? I won't be able to look at the incident until Friday but I would be interested in knowing if anyone else can see it - anyone with High Def for example.

If there are objects being thrown onto the pitch at any game some action needs to be taken - I would imagine there is a clause on such incidents in the RL rules. I don't know what form the action would take but am interested in what the RL would do about it if it was reported to them.
