Don't agree. I thought after Briscoe went off in the derby and a bit of shuffling was needed they played far better with Berrigan at half back, Thorman at full back and Hall on the wing.

Let's face it we may as well try something different otherwise we just get the same old $h1te again and again!!!

Berrigan didnt go to the halves did he? Ive watched the game back a couple of times, im pretty sure Lee played there but Thorman came up from FB to play 7 when we had the ball. They changed back round after 10 mins anyway with G horne going on the wing.

I thought he did. Maybe I'm wrong. Whatever they did, they swapped it around anyway and it coincided with an improvement.

The improvement came directly after Berro kicked a 40-20 and we seemed to raise our intensity. Personally dont think it was down to a positional change, thought we just seemed to lift as a team and the crowd did too.

We started to play with enthusiasm, we lost the game due to being out enthused for the previous 50 mins.

From the BBC website, comments on Reardon's non-appearance today:

Agar looks set to resist the temptation to throw Reardon straight into the side for the trip to St Helens on Easter Monday, despite naming the player in his 19-man squad for the game at Knowsley Road.

"We named him in the squad as a precaution," Agar added.

"For our own protocol we've got some checks to do on Stuart and along with the fact that he's only met the boys for 10 or 15 minutes it's a little bit too much to throw him in at the moment."

And with the enthusiasm we started to offload and play a bit more expansively. We still only created 2 tries in the last 25 mins for all that extra enthusiasm.

Why cant we be enthusiastic from minute 1? Im pretty sure 17 players dont decide jointly to go out there and be lethargic. Its all down to preperation and practice which sits with the coach.

If professional rugby players can not motivate THEMSELVES for a game such as a local derby they should not be playing. The coach should not need to do a thing before a game like that! Especially with so many local lads in our ranks last week.

It wasn't just enthusiasm. Even during our purple patch it was clear that we just don't have the skills (passing, catching, line running) to play expansive rugby. Otherwise we would have scored at least a couple of tries with the position and possession we had. Instead we constantly spilled the ball or took the wrong option.

That and the fact that Rovers had a centre who could hardly walk stood next to Dobson - who shoud have been a defensive spot anyway suggests we have the dumbest team around....and a coach who obviously doesnt want to tell them what to do!

We did drop a fair bit of ball. It's just Rovers kept giving it back to us too

I know that and that was the annoying bit.......we didnt take advantage due to having a crap S/H and coach who is out of his depth.
