| Definitely in. There are a lot of things we could do (fundraising etc...). Would it be possible to get a player or 2 involved with fun days and such like, donating match shirts to auction for charity??? Or is that against anything in there contracts?

James Rule did answer a question about autographed shirts/balls for charity at our last disabled meeting and he said they don't do it anymore for the sole reason that they have loads of requests everyweek and the players would spend all their time autographing rather than training. They have a nominated charity every year that they raise money for, iirc this years is Children In Need.
Don't shoot the messanger, this is just as was told to the disabled group.

| I tend to agree with Standee regarding the amount of influence any fans group would have with the club, to have any sort of influence the membership must be active and voluble. If i were in charge of running the club i wouldn't listen to an organisation that had only 100/200 members when this represents around 1% of active fans. In this case numbers do tell and organising this type of group when fans are disgrunteld will only create a kind of siege mentality within the higher reaches of the club.
They can sit tight and wait for things to turn around, voting with your feet is the only real difference.
I too will miss matches this season due to Friday/Saturday night changes but feel the club need to realise they are dis- enfranchising sections of the crowd with their attempts at running the club on strict proffesional lines.
I do not think sitting in a pub with 40/50 people trying to set an agenda ,each with their own gripe is going to work .
However good luck and if you are playing the numbers game i will gladly contribute.
My only wish is to watch a winning team and i am fairly sure that also is the club policy.

Anybody with stalking experience?? we could also try and get a fanzine up and running, get wilf to write a piece or publish hid diary in it. Also contact other teams members of there forums for an alternative look at upcoming games! The list could be endless!

| The 'Life For A Kid Foundation' would be happy to help out. Dean Hoggard and myself have had a brief discussion about how both HISA and LFKF could benefit each other.....So.....If you would like to add us (and the power of the GB Allstars charity machine ) to the mix......Let us know!
At least this way.....any charitable events held by HISA (or whatever it shall be named) they will have a positive direction for the funds.....as well as any RL related funds!

| I take people's points on board about not been able to influence the club but if we just accept that as a given without coming together and trying then what is the point in wanting to change anything in life?
We can have a damn good go at this and at the end of the day if we can contribute in a positive way and get links, parnerships in place with the club, fc irregulars, kids foundation, vp's association, black and whites, ex players, FC Irregulars etc we may be heading in the right direction.
Doing nothing isn't always the answer!

Thats the type of attitude we need, well said sir. Plenty of RL clubs have an ISA that do lots of good work for the club and have a voice at the table. Thats not to say it always gets heard but its better than nothing IMO.

We have Radders, Ikram Butt and James Graham as patrons (Proud patrons they are too!!!).
All I'm saying is.....We are willing to help out......If needed We could possibly provide a link to all the other ISA's with the players we have.

Sounds a good idea...the strength or success of the new org will depend on it's links with other ISA's and partners.

OK......We had an original plan for the LFKF and its running of the GB Allstars games. We were going to ask supporters from other teams to get sponsorship and a team together to play 'curtain raisers' for SL games against the Allstars. The Irregs have played against them (and got their asses whipped ) on the same day as Hull City were at Wembley, so the crowd was affected. To me, this game is fondly remembered as 'The Keeley Game' The Allstars also played the curtain raiser against a St Helens Allstar team in a curtain raiser to Paul Wellens Testimonial game against Wakey.....another successful day out! Hisa and all the other Isa's could benefit greatly from such events and get 'up close and personal' with some of the games 'greats'. They all enjoy getting together and showing off the skills that they still posess. Last Sunday....they beat a Kiwi Allstar team at Bradford....no mean feat

| Whilst agreeing with reasons this is coming about i dont understand why this group is even being formed tbh. Seems to me its been done so the fans can have more contact with the club and it can become more accountable to the fans but in order to do has to get into bed with the club which completely defeats the object IMO. How long will all this take because for it to gather up any momentum or power its gonna be atleast next season which means its gonna do nothing for our present predicament.
IMO more direct action is needed. Boycotting, banners, turning away from the game, anything, but it has to be more instant.

Maybe other people have a different idea to me with regards to what this group/club/association should be about. IMO its not about attacking the club when they do something we dont like. It should exist whether we are having good times or bad times. It should be a way for the fans to have a positive influence with the club, whether it be raising money to sponser a player or to help sign a youngster on a full time contract or organise events for the fans to get together etc and (hopefully) with a large enough membership we can voice our opinions to the club and they will listen to what the members want. If we just try to use it as a stick to beat the club with we will get nowhere and even if we did achieve some sort of change it would then quickly go out of existance.
Thanks to Dean and Chewie by the way. The only thing I would say about the proposal is that whilst it is is important to build partnerships I would say the two organisations would have very different goals and the ISA created should really be focusing on things related to Hull FC. Thats not to say the two shouldn't support each other but I'd say thats something for the future rather than part of the building process. Again just my opinion mind.

| Just found the press statement the club issued at the first FC Voices meeting, Im not sure if the policy will have been changed or if they will in the future
Quote The Club intend improving and developing communication with its supporters through FC Voices the newly formed fans group. Regular meetings should enable the supporters to be better informed and for initiatives and ideas to be discussed for the benefit of the Club and it’s fans. There will also be opportunities to organise events such as the Radio Forum in July with the Club.
For the avoidance of doubt the Club do not expect to deal directly with organisations such as HISA who are represented in FC Voices and who now have the ability to pose questions through that group.

Chief Executive
