I think he'll still go , Biggs has been in & out of the Bath side so I think he'll be here before May .

The problem is if Crookes plays 1 game his salary and pay off (from a 2 year deal) will count on the cap. It would be pointless releasing him as it wouldn't free up cap space.

As has been said, Wigan have raided player from the worst team in SL. You've got to sign these players from somewhere but as long as they have the desire they can be anything.. Sam Moa for example!!

I'd rather have 3 players on £60k (Feka, Talanoa and Rankin), with a bit of mystery around their ability but the effort and desire to win.. Than 1 on £180k (Holdsworth), coming as a superstar and saviour but just taking the money and not putting in the hard work or not actually having the ability to go with it..

There is not really anyone better, or bigger named, than Holdsworth available so I'd rather go with nobodies and give them a shot!!

Well I don't know a thing about him, all I have to go on is his highlights package and Sheldon. Since I don't tend to agree with everything Sheldon says and that everyone in the NRL seems to be terrible according to him I will go off the highlights.

He looks a strong powerful runner and a good finisher. I will file him alongside Biggs and Feka as could be great or could be terrible.

He made the call to walk away, he didn't have too. There was big money on the table for him. He was excellent for Souths but, after his illness took some time away. If he feels he is ready to come back then good for him. I don't see too many other decent backs out there we could have signed and he could prove to be a very good signing if he can rediscover his form. He's only 25 so has every chance.

I'm pleased with this signing. Watched him at Souths and there wasn't much to dislike.

Don't you give up? The guy hasn't pulled on a shirt or set foot in the airport and you're bagging him, which means you have some sort of vendetta. Perhaps he didn't empty your bin one day after you'd got up at 6am just to drag it down the path? Did he bone your girlfriend or mum?
