Grants Bistro in Beverleyis very nice.

Alachi on Wold Road is really nice if you fancy a curry.
Also Hitchcocks in town if you fancy something a little different.

I know its not a night place to eat but you MUST try Round The Corner near to Zoological on spring bank for the sunday lunches, they are THE best I've ever had!

Head a bit out of Hull to Howden, Lagartos tapas restaurant is a brilliant little place.

Fox Hounds in East Ayton, the best sunday roast i've had in England by far.

Taman Ria Tropicana, Malayan/Thai restaurant on Princes Avenue. We went there after the match on Friday, as always the food was fantastic. Try the Nasi Campur a mix of 3 dishes, or the Nasi Goreng, or the Chicken Satay, or . . . .

Great place that, been going there on and off (or in its previous locations/names) for something like 10 years

I used to work there, the Steak pies they do there midweek are amazing, absolutely massive portions and the chips are really nice too.

For an Italian La Perla on Newland Ave is nice.

Heard good things about there, never got round to going though.

The Westwood in Beverley is very nice, the Venison in there was one of the nicest dishes I've ever eaten.

The Bluebell Inn in Cottingham is very nice food. Quite reasonably priced too.
Got some nice ales on too which is a bonus.

I can think of Beverley Rd, George Street and Prince's Dock side. Always been a variation of Taman Ria iirc.

I went tonight, really nice food, decent service without being pestered and not too expensive for what it is.

Someone mentioned Alison Hall in Hedon, good shout that, they do some good set menu type offers there, really good value for money.

Try the chophouse or cafe sydney, both near circular key.

Antico forno on cott road next to Gardners is nice. Had a great deal on groupon as well a few weeks ago. One of the nicest places in Hull to eat. Nice steaks and Italian food, not too expensive.

Lantern down Whitefriargate beats EVERYWHERE for steak even if surroundings not very modern. Nowhere to touch their Garlic Mushroom starter n Porterhouse Steak main.

It's is the same menu as Mustaffa's, and I believe owned by Mustafa's brother?!?!

With you there mate. First time I went ordered steak, when it came I asked for a steak knife. The waitress said looked insulted n said I won't need one. Best steak I've had.
