Noble no chance Paul please tell me that was a joke. He has had money at Wigan at they have not improved, took over a very good side at Bradford too. Kearney or Foulkes for me. But I want to see Agar given abit more of a chance with his new signings.

Having listened to Rule on the radio last night it should be quite clear to anyone else who heard it that Agar will be our coach next season. He's clearly been given autonomy over who next season's signings will be and will stand or fall by those recruits.

Agar will be the coach, not doubt about it.

As for those who mention Kearney, he has already said he won't come to SL at this stage of his career. Despte what people think I would take Noble like a shot, would improve us no end.

Very very questionable - the only success he had at Bradfud was when the Bulls were blatantly fiddling the Salary cap !!!!!!!!!!!!
His pack alone cost £1.6m in wages - how could he fail ?
Now he is operating in the rules look at him , let's not forget he would have relegated Wigan if they hadn't fiddled the SCap again with Fielden.
BULLS and WIGAN are the 2 worst fiddling gets and I do not recognise any of their success

At the end of the day if he did go it would be a mistake. the problem fc are famous for is inconsistencies. both with players aswel as staff/management. Agar needs to be here for at least 2 or even 3 full seasons to have a lasting impact on the club. if we are still like this this time next year then maybe the question should be asked but i personally feel we cant judge the man on a bit of a season lasty year and half a season so far this year. Also if the players arent performing the best coach in the world couldnt do anything so they need a coach to trust and who they can relate to for a period of time rather than constantly changing the coaches and staff

Think you've got that so wrong!! If the Wigan board had given Milly the cash that they let Noble go ahead and cheat. Millward then may have had a chance. Truest part of your statement is that Noble and Lindsey fiddled the cap. Noble has never been an advocate of youth and it is only now, that he at last has begun with some of the talent around the youngsters that Wigan are playing a little bit more like a top half of table team. Look at the players that Wigan, over time have let go, think Wigganers like me must be praying for a new coach who has the motto "if the're good enough; the're old enough........grannyfan

Anyone but Agar, i wait to be proven wrong about him but he isnt doing much currently.

This is irrelevant as Agar will be the coach next season and if he fails next season then we will look to replace him and who knows who could be available by then.

Small wager he isn't - that will be 3 years of 5 drives and a kick - we can't stomach that much longer

All these players are his signings so I very much doubt the club will get shut of before then, in fact I am certain they won't.

My feeling is we are looking to write this season off already and look to finish 8th - I am afraid a capitulation at Wakefield will see him go - a win will keep him safe BUT a loss then a loss v Reds at Home and he is a goner again etc etc etc

Think your way of the mark on this one, Agar will be the coach here come next season. Why on earth would the club be recruiting the players he has identified only to replace him with someone else.

I dont know what Agar is saying to these people, but they are all impressed with him!

Probably the cash these players are being offered helps with their opinions of him.

TBF I think Agar wants to play an attacking game but realises we don't have the players to do it this year so is keeping it conservative as he feels that that is the most effective way of playing. (which tbf, we've only lost heavily twice and we're in the top 6)

I'd say if anyone deserved a second chance though it's Phil Sigsworth. Got us promoted and then got shafted. Not that I'm advocating the return of either. Are they even still coaching in any capacity?
