Dave I’ve read your patronising drivel for years, you get it wrong, your not in the know, you don’t coach at an high level, neither do I, you made the comment about were is the fan who wanted to sell Connor, you knew that was me, and say it when he’s having a wow of a game, from FB, I’ve always rated Connor, but have always said, I don’t rate him when he plays 6, and if he insists on playing there and as sulk if he doesn’t, then I’d get rid, and I stand by that, hopefully he’ll prove me wrong if gets a full season at 6, that’s just my opinion, don’t make sly digs if you don’t like been pulled up on it. We all get things wrong, I'm not denying that, but I'll ask again when did I say Westerman or Hadley should be captain?

If you cant see the effect on having Shaul and Sneyd at 1 and 7 neirher have good passing games on a the other halfback then you know less than I thought. Connor is the only ball player when those two play which makes it hard to create things. Even having McNamara makes a difference as he can pass.

Both Sneyd and Shaul have been poor for the last couple of years, but you dont talk about selling him. I dont think Connor insists on playing 6, unless you have any evidence, I think he wants to play in the middle, either at 6 or 1 and he can do a job at 6, but we then need another ball player.

Ratu is going to be a massive loss. How quickly he has adjusted to League after only playing 7's Union is incredible. Hope he gets bored playing that tedious game and comes back.

Getting better every week, think he must work really hard in training, as his rugby basics have really come on this season.

That’s the thing I’m struck by. His game awareness is extraordinary for someone who’s hardly played the game.

I really can’t be d to do a barista on you. I like shaul and I like sneyd, so why would I talk about selling them. But I completely see the benefits of Connor playing fb over shaul, if Connor had shauls speed he’d but one of the top fb or hb in the world, I think his lack of speed, means fb is better suited, as it gives him a little more space and freedom, just need his attitude in defence to be consistently good.

I can't remember the last time our wingers both got 2 tries in the same game. Connors ability to find the winger is fantastic

He's a very good player and looking far more settled now after the early rumours of disgruntlement.

Interested to see the stats when available. I think Ligi Sao doesn't get enough recognition, another big shift from him.

The difference in go forward when Sao and particularly Satae come on is huge, anybody have Sataes metres made

Fingers crossed we will get a Wigan/Saints/Warry acid test in a revised play off system. We’ve done well against teams who are struggling or underperforming, we need a quality side to make comparisons on our improvements.

Sneyd is our rudder, and while his usually superb kicking has been a little off lately, he can, and has won us many games, we are in quite a good place now, but we need that jolt from better teams to see we’re we really are. We also need to get Scotty fit again, and it must be said, Lasty has done very well.

We wont be involved in any revised playoffs.

All in all it was a workman like performance and they controlled the game from the 2nd half. The game was never really in doubt and that showed that when they scored each time we stepped up and scored again in response. Playing games thick and fast it was a sensible thing to just see out the 2nd half in a controlled manner which they did.

Connor was excellent along with Faraimo & Mau. Thought Bowden again was much improved. Although McNamara didn't stand out, defensively he stood up well and certainly didn't look out of place and it will only help his development. Sao, Satae & Savelio also seem to continue getting better and consistent.

I do think the improvements we are seeing in certain players is down to a large part of Andy Last/Keiron Purtill and their input since stepping up to the roles of head & assistant coach.

Pleased to see Bowden showing some form after his injury nighmares. Very good solid player when fully fit.

As COYH has alluded to, there is a Monday meeting scheduled, regarding the well documented possible early season finish and a revision of the play off structure, as I said fingers crossed, it does infer I am hoping, rather than actually knowing what the outcome will be.
