Having to play Toronto away in the Middle 8's could be a nightmare for SL teams having to get visas sorted in such a short space of time.

I'm sure Toronto have said they'll be playing their middle 8 home games at home.

looks pretty reasonable to me. Much better than reversing those home fixtures and travelling to toronto and catalans. Realistically those should be 3 home wins and at least 2 away

Widnes need all their best players fit, and that's what has undone them the last two years.
Giants have a new coach which may give them a bounce, and Catalans have some decent players but are ill disciplined and badly coached.
Leigh are running into form now as well, so can see the middle eights being very tight, exciting and probably low on quality.

has anyone realised we could end up with toronto,tolouse,london and catalan in superleague next year so 4 teams that dont bring away support. imagine the million pound game played in front of a few spectators

I support expansion but the lack of away fans at Catalans games (and London in the beforetime) makes those games less exciting to watch. I hope the loss of revenue will be made up by better TV and advertising deals but knowing our sport it won't.

Another 2 points in our quest to avoid the middle 8s. Given Catalans look a much better side with Drinkwater, Huddersfield have won their last 3 games and we're down on numbers that was an important win. Borrowed this image from Twitter:

Rovers are doomed. I'd expect Toronto to go up automatically, and London/Toulouse via MPG. Rovers will get MPG at best.

If we didn't have 10 players out or whatever it is then we would be. Cas will do for us though. My only concern is avoiding a relegation scrap right now.

We just need to keep scrapping until we get a few players back. Even with players missing the games against Salford and Widnes coming up are winnable and would keep us in the hunt. By then we should hopefully have a couple returning.

The good news is that Cas aren't great and Leeds are terrible.

Rovers could do us a favour next weekend. The week after we should have a good chance at home to Salford and Cas are at Warrington so the table could look quite healthy in a couple of weeks time.

No team is even one point clear of relegation. That only happens in the middle eights and/or million pound game.

You'll be safe even if you don't win another game which isn't going to happen injuries or not
