It's weird. Originally in my opinion his agenda was to get the stadium for nowt, promise a Sporting Village which would actually be a retail park and make money out if it. Now that door's been closed (bet the council are relieved now he's displayed such extreme behaviour), how else to balance the books? Rebranding. But that fails to take account of the fact that sporting fans are a very emotional set of customers.
He said definitively that if he didn't get the KC, City would move to Melton. That seems to be off the table. So he's now got limited opportunities. Does he want out and to blame the council and fans for turning down his "generosity"? His way of going about things is ratcheting up in its antagonism on a daily basis. |

On a more serious note, Hull, or at least Prinny Ave, is absolutely crawling with police already this morning, according to Mr Worm who popped out for a jar of coffee. Paddy wagons, the lot. This isn't usually the case before a City match. Are they expecting trouble from the 'hooligans' - all 20000 of them being of similar mind, like?

The HDM article persists in stating "Allam has invested £60m". It would be fairer to say, he has loaned it to the company that runs Hull CITY AFC. Because if he walked, he would take his money back.
