that's a shocker, i know wigan have rfl favouritism most of the time, but this is being done just to guarantee wigan fans turn up in numbers, rather than have it at a sensible location like doncaster which at least is on a main line rail route from the capital. the rfl are frightened having the semi too faraway from wigan will result in a low crowd

looking at the wire forum, they have been allocated the end the away fans usually go in plus half of one of the sides, looks like we will have the other half of this stand plus the other end (the two tiered end) Wasn't this the end we had when we beat saints in 2005?

The thing that I don't understand is, if the semi-finals are to be played at 5.00 and 6.00 UK time (for no apparent reason), why was a quarter final played at 4.00 in the baking heat in France? Was it just the BBC?

Being out numbered in fans doesn't bother me, never has never will, fill it full of Hull fans for all i care. If Hull didn't out number us i'd be very surprised, like i said 60-40 in Hull favour is what i'd expect.

I'd say of the clubs with more home support there are only Leeds who we beat on away support, not that it matters, in truth though i wish clubs/fans were in a position in which the away allocation always sold out.

As someone has already mentioned the 6pm kick off is a slight worry. Wouldn't surprise me if the Police shut all the pubs given they're reputation for over kill towards sports teams from this area.

Well they have shut the top tiers. Both clubs allocations are shocking. Can be more than 7000 each

Personally i would have allocated the main stand facing the cameras to Hull fans (because they'll fill it) the stands under the camera to Wire.
Have behind the sticks as overspill or for the neutrals if they want to attend, one side Wire the other Hull.

Wire have been given more of the ground than fc, the old pink link stand behind the goals hold more than double than the other end

No they haven't been given more. Yes the end behind the sticks is bigger than our end. But they've not been allocated any tickets in the stand opposite the tunnel whereas we have half that stand

the ground plan looks like all seats for that stand are available only the upper stands aren't!

If you go on Warringtons forum their allocation is stand behind goal and half of the lower tier of the double tiered stand where the tunnels are

fair enough, I suppose they are keeping the side free and the upper tier behind the goal if more tickets are needed for both clubs

At a guess theres about 16k seats on offer, should be ok, open the upper side if it sells well we'll need about 8 or 9k. They as proved yesterday have 6000 fans

Ok, but this season the only thing that's kept our attendance down is the away support, we generally have a core of 10k regular but travelling ranges between 1700 and 3500, obviously i'd expect more for a semi but i reckon at the absolute top estimate we'll bring 8k.

Shouldn't be an issue getting more tickets if needed. But we all know what West Yorkshire police are like

I think that after the flak they've caught over the City fiasco, they'll be keeping a relatively low profile for this one.
