Green was clearly offside but justice has been done from last years robbery.

Rovers were up for it and played their best for 60 minutes, like Good Friday I thought any other team would have scored a lot more.

We were making the same mistakes we've made time and time again for a while - trying too hard and getting the basics wrong causing us to lose the ball and give away territory. I thought the penalty count shows our discipline is better than last year overall.

And we only needed twenty minutes of good rugby to beat them, would have preferred we got up for it from the start but 2 points is 2 points no matter how you do it.

And Green's try; I couldn't give a toss after dobsons joke of a forward pass for lovegrove's(?) try at magic last year.

I thought Watts did ok, too.

BTW just looked at the Brown try again. The final pass appears to be a mile forward, although there isn't a definitive angle. Gentle will have had a better view.

The first five minutes and the early try should have helped settle any nerves. Rovers always seem that bit more motivated for derby games to me.

Yeaman Try was all day a try, control of the ball on the whitewash, Im not sure what the hell the second one was other than a brain fart of the highest order!

Funny how last week mr. koshi was giving up on the game because of poor officials. This week he is loving it.

I won't argue the point on the forward pass as team get them and lose them as they are called on the fly BUT today isn't like that. The guy in charge has decided to throw the rules in the bin and make it up as he goes along.
As Cummins said there can be 2 reason to go e that try and neither happened. After numerous views with all the tech Sky can muster the guy in charge has made a mockery of a hard fought game. Surely I can't be the only one fearful for the game and its officiating with that muppet in charge.
Who would have ever thought we would wish Cummins to be back in charge if that the levels the refs are going to drop too.

I thought we tried to over-play everything in the first quarter. As a result we gave up possesion and any chance of building some pressure.
If we'd kept our heads I get the feeling we could have posted a few tries early on and gone from there. Instead we put ourselves under pressure and then panicked.

Ganson has made it up as he goes along for his entire career. Today was no different. We've been on the receiving end countless times. Forgive me if I don't see what happened today as anything other than the same old crap finally going in our favour.
