I once got banned from the entire rlfans site, and I still don't know why. As far as I can tell it was simply because I posted on the Hull KR board in a Paul Cooke thread. There was nothing inflammatory in what I posted (as borne out by my reinstatement by Mugwump after I emailed the site admin), I think some Rovers mod had simply decided to randomly ban half the Hull fans who appeared in the thread. I've not been there since, it's the only SL club's board I don't bother with, but it's really just not worth the hassle/risk.

From what I've seen AP has become increasingly frustrated with the Allams and probably they with him , especially with his public backing of Barmby. Maybe AP wanted out ( he's just touted his self for a job at the RFL ) and what better way than to get constructively or unfairly dismissed? Even if he was a consultant there would be a contract and there's at least a 50% chance that he hasn't breached it. Can't imagine the Allams will want to fight AP in court , that would make them even more unpopular and what would they stand to gain? Once they get their new manager in and the dust settles , AP and the Allams can put this all behind them with AP settling for an improved SMC arrangement for FC and agreeing to say no more about it. Well you never know.......

Completely agree, just wasn't sure why you'd get rid of it at all. Doesn't break the AUP to make a t!t of yourself does it? We'd have to have a massive cull, and I quite like posting on here.

I do feel for city and I as do many FC fans like city to do well but having read the Allams interview in the mail this morning it doesn't fill me with any confidence at all.
Thank god the council didn't give this muppet the KC. I'm sure AP will still keep involved in Football through his consultancy company aswell as driving FC forward.

Agree with that as I also like to see City do well as it does benefit the City etc and I wouldn't wish what was going on on any fan. Just a pity the City fans and the local media didnt see tread with caution when Assem Allam appeared with his so called gift to the City of Hull instead of proclaiming him to be the saviour of the Tigers and City etc and fawning all over him.

For once HCC actually did the right thing and took their time and with due diligence made their decision regarding the KC Stadium and surrounding area which in my view was undoubtably the correct decision.

Also the fact he hasnt actually put £50M of his own coin in yet still seems to get glassed over when in fact it is so far only a guarantee.

Be interesting to know who they are going to go to for football related advice in future no they have removed AP.

I suspect they are going to get a proper experienced manager like a billy davies, mick mccarthy, dave jones type who can make big decisions without the need for a self employed director of football to hold their hands like most clubs, only guessing mind.

Are they all yes men who do exactly as the chairman says and will not voice their opinions about the lack of money for players in the press?

well billy davies and dave jones have a long history of championship success whilst not whining about not having any brass to spend, don't know about mccarthy mind can't see him being a whinger though.
