How forward were those passes to Charnley?

Just thinking that watching it on Sky then, I must admit I didn't notice today but they were forward.

I know how you feel about Agar etc but your post was fair and you called it how you saw it rather than just bashing the coach

We should have won today, I would have accepted losing late on 13 v 13 but at 12 v 13 we should have scored at least one try or had Wigan playing from there own line.

Not panicking and coming up with costly errors. Sure they was a better effort today but you can't ignore the fact we just aint smart enough to win the big games or sometimes any game.

I beg to differ we could have made use of the extra man. We certainly shouldn't have found ourselves stretched out wide.

We were not stretched, watch the last try and we had equal numbers but Sharp drifted inwards and we got punished.

Bloody ell, just seen the tries on SL show. Their tries were well forward! Sharp definitely needs to be staying on his wing, starting to be come a regularity now.

After all the c### you've given us this week about dobbo i really shouldn't be saying this......but.....but......but.....you where robbed, having seen the tries, especially the 1st Charnley try, how forward do they have to be, that was disgraceful.........what am i doing..

Says a lot about what we've had to put up with for the last 3 years that we have a 10 page thread rejoicing the fact that we've seen effort and commitment from the team.

Of course you take into fact that they got a try for Westerman dropping the ball over the tryline

I've been to every game this season, watched our team put in under the par performances except Crusaders. They've made baby step's forward making improvements left right and and yesterday I witnessed a class defensive performance against the Superleague Champions of 2010.

We still need to improve but things are going in the right direction. There were some ridiculous dubious decisions, but every player on that pitch had a bit of pride in them yesterday.

Well worth the travel across!!

A loss is still a loss even and if some of you havent noticed that one win in five games now and throw away a win against twelve men by giving needless penalties away is diabolical imo. The whole fecking lot of em from board to coach to payers want stringing up. Im not proud of this bunch of losers. Theyre a joke!

Factually correct actually. The thread opened by rejoicing in us showing effort and commitment and is 10 pages long. The fact that people have taken it off track doesn't change either of those. It will, however, be factually incorrect when it clicks over onto 11 pages

I now a wins a win and a loss is a loss, but after our poor start we seem to have found a lot more passion, commitment and desire and we need to keep it going now! What will be interesting to me is as the season progresses how many other teams will get beat by 2 points against wigan!

It is a very unfrotunate circumstance to find ourselves in, being grateful that the paid employees turned up and did their job to th best of their collective abilities for once.

I can totally understand people being proud of the effort, what shouldn't be as evident is the amount of surprise being shown that the effort was forthcoming.

By the sounds of it nobody can question the effort from the players but it also sounded like we bottled it when J.Tomkins got sent off.

Pride and passion should be the norm from a group of individuals who earn more than £70 grand a year each on average

I didn't go yesterday (although I almost gave up my self imposed away match ban because I didn't have much else to do

) , and it sounded as though we should have won. The focus today should be on why we lost and what we need to put right next time rather than people being happy to be gallant losers

I was going to go, then I realised the 6 Nations was on so I didn't bother, wish I had now as it sounds a cracking performance.

I agree, one of the biggest questions from yesterday is why we took the 2 when we, seemingly, had Wigan in trouble, did Houghton have a bit of a dummy spit about it and what where the consequences. I also have to question what was done during a warm up that triggered Moa to have an athsma attack, and what can we do to avoid that happening again, if anything.

Discipline is an issue, and that comes from the coach.

It seems there is a fairly clear divide of reaction to yesterday's game between those who went and witnessed the performance and those who didn't.

The support at the game was superb and I'm not surprised that those who went, on the whole, have reacted by backing the team's performance in the aftermath. I left the ground absolutely gutted that Tickle's kick shaved that post the wrong side - we deserved something from the game. It went a bit wrong in the last 10 with knock ons and 4 consecutive penalties against - some for infringements that had gone unpenalised for 70 mins and one when we were in possession at the ptb. But the performance deserved backing from the fans and it sure got that.

To those that didn't make it I'm sorry you missed a good, spirited performance which indicated that hopefully more wins are in the pipeline - should that be something that is of interest. The side will be better balanced with Phelps in hopefully we can kick on now and move up the table.
