Say what you like about Morgan but he's media friendly, has a bit of charisma about him and can talk the hind legs off a donkey. Contrast that to Agar who is clearly awkward infront of the media and often appears to struggle to even construct proper sentences. To be fair to RH I don't think they can be blamed for broadcasting a longer Morgan interview.

Yes, Morgan is very cheap radio, in the same way that McRae was. Can talk for a good 10 minutes without saying anything.

I agree but it fills the airtime and that's not their fault. You could argue Guillem and co could push Agar a bit more but their exchanges are often pretty excruciating as they are.

The wail and blunderside are on the periphery at Hull as they can't control content in the way they could with KCFM and still can with the website and forums etc.

Absolutely, it is a 2 way street and I'm not saying the club have the moral highground in all this (although I don't think Gwilym has suddenly taken up an affiliation with Rovers).

As it stands though:
Radio Humberside have a RL editor who is a Rovers supporter and makes little attempt to mask that fact. The commentary team is Rovers biased (Nick Pinkney and Chris Park v Craig Murdock) Even if we leave Lee Richardson out as 50/50 (and I'm being generous), that's 3:1, with the boss being part of the 3. That's pretty poor IMO when FC have the bigger fanbase by some distance.

From FC's perspective, they still seem to be smarting from the Cooke affair and the Prodigy/Reardon kerfuffle. They need to get over it, particularly now KCFM is defunct. Not allowing the fans access to the coach's post match interview is not on. The control point you make is a good one, and FC try to control and spin the message too much IMO - but in their defence with the bias on RH this is a way to try and even things up.

There should be some middle ground here, and the rules of engagement should be re-established. RH needs to get it's tongue out of Rovers' ass and have a balance of RL pundits that reflects the balance of the fanbase. Lloyd needs to dial down his transparent Rovers bias. FC need to offer coach and a minimum of 1 player interview after each game and agree a fresh start. For many, as Rovers-biased as it is, RH is their main source of information on the club and these supporters are losing out.

Mrs B think you find the drool and excuses Agar talks after a defeat are maybe what the RL fans on RH dont want to here anyway. Question for you from your fast array of FC facts when was the last time you saw Agar as a guest on a Sky Sports covered game ??? A very long time ever wondered why, maybe the same reason as RH dont what to hear is drool on they station.

Even though we're not exactly pulling up trees, I'd rather the club coach got on with coaching rather than shmoozing with Eddie and Stevo.

When was the last time Michael McGuire was on by the way? Or Terry Matterson?

Our coach is accountable for our results and it's an expectation that we hear his thoughts after the game. I'm not bothered whether he's on Skysports or not. I don't recall Daniel Anderson being on week in week out when Saints were tearing it up, nor Maguire last year.
