I dont think it is unrealistic for a player who cannot get into a top sides 19 man squad to look for a move away to play rugby even if it is just for a month at a time. I am sure he isnt looking now but after 6 or so games as a spectator he may get restless and I am sure he wont be turning out for the U20s!

I dont know how Smith will rotate his squad across there but if Warrington start the season well and Monaghan and Higham stay fit Clarke is spending alot of time sat in the stands. Does any player choose not to play just to be around a trophy winning squad?

All makes a lot of sense to me, if he isn't going to feature then at his age he will want to play. He is a possibility I would imagine. He is a better hooker than Obst but Obst is a better half.
