It's been commom knowledge since they arrived in SL that Rovers have been generous with the wages e.g. Dobson, Neither us or Wigan could match their offer despite having much bigger support. To be honest i can't remember the past dobbins directors being as bad as Grudgell,but i do remember them trying to put us out of existence by blocking our entrance to Div 2.As for their past chairman,Chief Inspector Barry Lilley,once stopped the bingo in Walton Club whilst following up a call about a local murder,pensioners ready to lynch him.Often used to see him with his personalised number plate on his flash car round the West Hull village's.

At least us cabbages can sit and watch as Grudge sees trouble sprouting in front of him.Of course he could dangle a carrot by saying he will dip in his pocket to plug any leeks. Lett us hope the entertainment continues ,as it is on par sniping at him ,as it is for him giving us the greens from his end.

Also, I reckon that if they did go under there would be a fair amount who miss having competetive rugby to watch and would come to the KC quite regularly. There will be a few who are just fans of the game rather than fans of Rovers and will just come along to enjoy rugby, there will be some who have nothing better to do and will come along to support the away team, and there will be a few who end up as genuine fans of Hull FC. We only need to get 700 of these people per game to offset the lost revenue due to not having a derby.

I like Wilf am upset for the hard core KR fans like PTR, Easty et al who have supported the club through difficult times and can now see bad times close again. It may have seen big and clever signing one Mr Cooke, it certainly did us no favours at the time and only now do we seem capable of pulling ourselves out of the doldrums. He has had a rich harvest from KR and depsite the fact that that they found him a new club , he refuses to go. He will continue with his high salary and perhaps now some of them may come to see that signing could well be the one thing that is the death of KR, his salary next season could prevent them from making anymore signings.

I have known how bad it was for them for months, the stories of beer delivery wagons parked outside the entrances awaiting texts of monies paid springs to mind. More relevations are too follow and there are plenty of them from what I hear, time to batten down the hatches its going to be a very stormy few months ahead.

Sorry Ian, but I have no sympathy for any rovers fan about Hull KR's debt problems. You would have thought Super league clubs would have learnt from our debt problems and the very fortunate merger that occurred to save our club.. The fact that Lakin, Hudgell etc have tried to keep up with the Jones, and seem to have failed miserably from a financial angle, is not my problem, and after all the abuse we've took in the past, I for one can't wait when they finally go under and have to restart again at the bottom.

Can't see them going bust but 1/2 million quid loss year on year aswell as debts worth £3m is not sustainable even with a couple of relatively wealthy board members. Some big decisions to be made at the caravan park.

Apart from been bad news for RL at large, KR going bust would be terrible for many many families who are generation upon generation KR supporters. Would it be a giggle to see him fall on his fat , would it be a laugh to put one over on a few certain posters on here? Yeah but not at the price of the previously mentioned.
