My mistake, Kingy stated how he was pished off with the way the club had treat him at the end, and how fans on here talked about him.

He mentioned alot more including cutting off his own pot in order to play and turning down an extra 30k per year to join another club ( Leeds or Wigan can't remember which he said ).

Fitz only has a year contract with an option for a second we can either excercise that if he is going well or let him return home and make a signing! I blieve Kingy has accepted a settlement and could go to Barrow but is finding it hard to think of playing for anyone else in Super League altough Celktic wil no doubt be interested!

Id say the club treated him better then he treat the club . He prob also cut of his pot so he could hold his pint and turning down an extra 30k , it was because hull offered him more in years and he had it easy at hull.

I never had anything but criticism for Kear's and Sharpe's recruitment (Manu aside). I was also very pessimistic generally about our squad for the last three seasons. I can't see what is selective about that.

Exactly the same as a Tongan passport as far as quota is concerned.

The main reason we signed him last year was due to the spanish passport he didn't need a visa due to the EU rules.

I'm not sure that the club have treated him so badly over the years. As for the fans on here, well we hardly represent the full 13000 do we - how many posters are there on here? I also think that many of his detractors on here still saw his immense talent and potential but were often frustrated by his apparent complacency towards training and his over-enthusiasm for enjoying himself off the park. I also understand that he had curtailed his alleged indulgences over this season but I think he had cried wolf so often in the past that, in the present, he couldn't shake off the tag he had created for himself.

I hope he realises that the silent majority are the ones who count. Whenever King ran onto the pitch from the bench the vast majority of people who sit near me gave him a good cheer and round of applause and the same when he completed each stint. It would be unfair to accuse him of not being black & white through and through - imo.

I, for one, still wish him all the best in whatever path he chooses to follow. I hope he goes with Nobby to Wales (if that happens) and proves us all wrong - good luck Kingy.

Cracking post that pretty well sums up my feelings.
I was speaking to him about 2 days after the final game so I should imagine feelings were running quite high, I'm hoping once the dust settles ( and the JD wears off! ) he would realise these things, not all fans listen and agree with the minority of fans on here.
