So what was Swain's beef with Kear? Got the impression he was a clean living moral type and I heard Kear liked a beer in the pub with the lads - or is there more to it?

pretty much the same as berro's with Agar as I'm led to believe, interesting similarities.

Berro doesn't have a touch of arrogance in him pretty down to earth guy, fairly quiet bloke and certaintly not arrogant, think people have listened to too many chinese whispers added a bit on each time and it's got out of control

He has not refused to play, he hasn't asked to leave

He has picked up an injury wrestling with Peter Cusackweek before last but hey lets not let facts get in the way of malicious rumours

Tell him he should go round to Yeamos in future I'm sure he has a wrestling game to play on, so he doesn't need to wrestle for real especially with people the size of Yak.

not basing it on any gossip/chinese whispers, the 2 times i actually met him, i thought he came across as arrogant/disinterested, my daughter at the time was asking him questions, and he was quite rude ie-yes/no answers, in the end she was looking towards me for encouragement, whereas Lee Radford was a gem, answered everything asked of him, a top bloke, she keeps in touch with him now, so my opinion of him was based on me meeting him, im too old to listen to chinese whispers


And i never thought he had refused to play, i hope he sees out his contract, because he is a fantastic player, and a player i have long admired!!

Apparently when he was a kid, nobody would invite Yeamo to their birthday parties as he was a nightmare at pass the parcel!!

What is it with bad mouthing our players? Even the ones who perform well, constantly. Berrigan dragged our pack around the field for the entire of last season. I’m truly overjoyed that he chooses to play for us. And that is what he does. Any team would bite there own arm off to sign a player with his class.
Does he really deserve to read this rubbish or have it even written about him? He’s arrogant come off it man. Yeah sure, you know for sure after stopping him in the supermarket or street for a few seconds that he’s not a nice guy! We complain that we don’t sign enough big, high profile names and then we slag off the ones we do manage to sign on our forums. really good idea that. Really I just don’t get it what is going on this site recently.

what is it with the egotistical mentality that some people have adopted since a recent glimpse of success? Go and talk to Widnes or Halifax fans for a while. They’d jump at the chance to be in our position with our players. Rather than languishing in the lower leagues desperately wanting a position in the SL. I bit of realistic criticism isn’t a problem but some people just seem to whinge and moan constantly for the hell of it.

You've met a lot of people for some-one who lives in East Hull - maybe your the arrogant one and he thought on your twice meeting him, - Hes some-one to steer clear of - Funny most Humans are like that, if I think some-one is a knob I'll deff stay clear - but by the way keep us all informed on Berrogate and your feeling on people from Oz.

Life is full of heart ache in sport - as you say Widnes - Halifax - Featherstone if you like - you can also include if you are a Football fan Southampton - Charlton - Norwich. We in general are not happy as Hull Supporters with the way we are playing at the moment but we are still only 4 points off the top - Hull City would love to be 4 points clear of Newcastle at the moment - Anyway back on point Shaun B - everybody in the know thinks there is some-thing going on while us who live in the sticks no nothing.

And btw, I live east hull because it's were I grew up, I support fc because my grandad used to take all his grandkids to the boulevard and I fell in love. And when it comes to meeting sportsmen, maybe that's because I work for a sports management company. HTH
