Its the fact that FC imposed a compulsory contribution to a charity on ROVERS fans and then gloated over THEIR magnificent donation to the media that rankles .... Rovers fans had no choice but to pay ... there was no way that we could have opted out other than by not going. So, because of FC's deplorable actions one of THEIR players is going to suffer financially. Hard luck mates ... they should have thought of that!

I actually complained to CinN afterwards. Lets just say, according to their response, it's unlikely that the situation will be repeated!

The ticket prices for that game were increased by £1 throughout the stadium, it wasn't just for Rovers fans. Well done for ignoring the fact that your club increases the price of a ticket by 70% when we play at Craven Park too, but only for away fans, not throughout the stadium.

im not a passholder neither was my son and my nephew but i payed it and when you say he gloated with the media and didnt mention kr fans cant remember him mentioning fc fans neither it was just a donation to charity think the media would of know it was given by fc and kr fans as the game was between our 2 teams wasnt hard to figure out where the donation came from now was it ?

As I said before, Children in Need were appalled that people had to make a compulsory donation to their cause .... they told me that charitable donations should be a matter of personal choice and this would be made clear in future link ups with organisations.

Anyway, out of FC (alleged) 15000 fans only 600 came to the derby when there were 2 points at stake. Out of our 8000, we only need to take 325 to have a better percentage for a meaningless match!!!! And that would be more than you took to Salford as well!

The posters who are complaining about me seem to forget that C in N were unaware that the donation was compulsory and were clear this was against their principles!

How many times? The donation wasn't compulsory.

Why couldn't FC have passed a bucket round? Then 24,000 would have had an equal opportunity to donate rather than just the ones who bought tickets who had no choice in the matter?
