As a coach, even if you think you have a best team on paper, and that team has the best chance of winning that match (and given the way Yeaman et al are playing it's difficult to see why he thinks that way) it's more damaging in the long term to do what he's doing, dropping players who've stuck their hand up and played well in order to shoe horn regulars/favourites back in. It fosters an attitude among the chosen few that they don't really have to try for their place, while making the others wonder what the point of bothering is.
And that's without going into the logic of we can't have Rankin on the bench because it's a waste of an interchange, but we can have 3 hookers and use Howarth (who is bang average) for just 15 minutes.
Mediocre player, dreadful captain, appalling coach.'"

Also disappointing that some players decided not to walk round and thank the remaining fans. Although some may have made the right choice as Houghton resorted to telling one fan to f off which obviously upset the gentleman (although he was being a douche)

I don't think that was really his point though. Lancaster wasn't injured initially when he was dropped.
People say about Radford's blooding of youngsters, but realistically he only does it when he's forced to because of injuries. |

Yes he's since been injured in an U19 game, but he wasn't injured after he'd played excellently at Wigan, he was just dropped back to the U19s. If you were him would it not be a bit galling to score twice away from home for a team that can't score, then get dropped and sit and watch the two wingers be used to drive the ball out of their own 20? |

We're absolute dog shiit. Worse than we ever were under agar. Worst attack in SL by some way. Watching wakey last night they are much better than us with ball in hand as are leigh and probably bradford. If pearson doesn't act and bring in a new coach then I genuinely fear for our SL survival.
No doubt now we will finish outside the 8 and unless radford goes it will be bottom 2. If pearson doesn't act I will have to believe that his motives towards the club are in question as it's obvious to everyone radford is so far out of his depth that even someone who has never seen the game in their lives could see it

You can only imagine what the fringe/young players are thinking when they watch the likes of Yeaman plod about collecting their pensions. |

Hudds looked way faster with ball in hand , Line speed , PTB , ect . The sin bin and the penalties alone would have been more than enough for a decent team to put Hudds to bed . We are really that bad .
