I agree with all of that, the answer is getting better players in AND a coach who knows what he's doing. The better players are coming, it's just the coaching situation that needs sorting out.

All fair points. No doubt the players are not as good as we have built them up to be or they think they are. I think that the board know it and want Agar to sort it. He wants to sort it I'm sure but he has proved to be absolutely incapable of managing these players during the process of change. He is absolutely cleary unequivocally not bright enough to do what is not an easy job. We need someone who is. Agar is making it worse.

Exactly, some people seem to think that because Agar has identified a major problem that he automatically deserves the opportunity to sort it. The problem with this is that Agar is as much a part of our downfall, if not more, as the players. We will never get anywhere with him in charge, better players or not.

and I think everyone agrees that the squad isn't top4 material, no matter who coaches them.

but i'd be happy if we were sitting 6th-8th, if I had confidence in our ability to turn it on for big games and do well in the playoffs. Under Kear for example we were very inconsistent, but we had faith that a 'big' performance could occur and he would lift players games for big ties.

Instead I'm actually glad we've missed the playoffs, as we'd only get embarrassed.

Yep and it would buy Agar more time. It's sad to say but I'm actually going in to games now hoping we lose, because every defeat is a step closer to Agar getting the boot.

I am exactly the same.I was willing to keep faith and give Agar a chance into next season but after the dropping of calderwood who is our player of the season i am completly dumbfounded by it.With what little credit he had has now gone and i have to admit now that the bloke is a clueless feck wit.If the board don't get rid of agar and sharp within the next 48 hours then me and my family won't be renewing our season pass and i think that must go for most of us.Its time for the board to take action now or suffer the consequences.

The players that are staying must be completely disillusioned by now and very low and if Agar/Sharp continue then this will repeat itseld next year without fail and I honestly feel that the few decent players we do actually have are being destroyed in both confidence and ability by the current coaching set up

I am past caring really, I just want to see us get mullered in all remaining games so that fans really do vote with their feet next season. That is the only way our cash greedy board will ever do anything !!!
If not for the next 3 to 4 years we will be seeing the same old !!!

I believe no matter which players we bring in next year it wont make a bit of difference without a new coach with a new look with fresh ideas and passing confidence down to the players !
I was lucky enough not to buy a pass this year due to work commitments and if he is here next season I will be doing the same.

I think 99% of the fans now want him to go and if the board don't do something about it soon they will be commiting financial suicide.They have got to swallow their pride and make a decision now for the good of the club.

The silence is deafening from the club on this one. Either sack him or come out in the press with a lengthy interview from rule, backing him, stating what they belive the problems to be and why they believe agar is the man to surmount these problems

I have been an Hull FC fan for thirty years now and ive witnessed the highs and lows but our current predicament leaves me feeling nothing but anger and discontentment towards the the board and what appears to be a total lack of interest in the plight of our club.

Please, please, please do the right thing and remove Agar/Sharp from their positions and get us a coach (Steve Folkes/Des Hasler to name but two)who the players respect as they clearly do not the current set up.

How on Gods earth can they support his team selection on Saturday and his embarrassing post match comments, and have credibility with the man on the terraces, never mind trying to convince us that he's the messiah of coaches.

Ive got a feeling he'll be gone in the next couple of days. I felt it about Sharpe and i feel it about Agar.

Unfortunately no matter what the remaining results are like I still think he will be here next season.

But where this falls down is with Agar consistently picking teams from the 3/4's who aren't good enough and seeming to prefer to drop those who are. To use Rule's infamous chef analogy, Agar's doing the equivalent of throwing away the prime beef and frying up turds.
