Great workout for both teams Long looked great made a few half breaks and the resulting passes where droped i think we missed half a dozen chances to score that will come with more game time under our belt
Sam moa impressed me as did Fitz was into everything and led from the front Omeley ran stong and made some big hits and i was very impressed with Turner looks a very good player and bags of pace ,and Hame looks a real handful for any team he really means it when he goes into the tackle ,I will also mention Lee Radford played really well at Prop and made good yeards Well done the team Great turn out for Horney

Ok, my thoughts.

I thought it was a great run out. The Rovers tries were bloody soft and we should've stopped them. We can't go back to falling asleep for the first 10 minutes of each half or we'll be mullered in that time by the bigger teams. Long was constantly gobbing off along with Fitz and it was great to see. People slag off the decision to sign Sean, saying he's passed it, but they're missing the point. Yes, he's not as fast as he used to be, but his experience will be far more invaluable to the team both on and off the pitch. Another thing I noticed was how the teams reacted when they had been scored against. We huddled behind the sticks and talked, Rovers looked very lost and just looked out onto the pitch. There didn't seem to be much team talk going on at all from them. The team spirit amongst us is clear to see.

Oh and another thing....I'm sick of hearing how they had a weakened side playing full of young and fringe players. They only had Vella and Fox missing didn't they??
