He's good enough for PG, so he's good enough for me.

You should start a league table for credibility , losing points and earning points for starting false of true rumours

He did Blake Green with his step on Monday night and got a penalty for it, and he outstripped the Bradford defence a treat earlier in the season. He's not as good as he once was, but that's not unususal in many players by the time they have hit 30. Where I think some people go too far is to say that he isn't any good at all any more. Firstly; just because a player is not still at the peak of his career form/ability does not mean he is no longer of any use; secondly; it's simply not true and if people need to make things up to strengthen their argument it was clearly too weak to begin with.
Also, TBF I don't see too many defending him as a halfback. Some just happen to think he could do a job for us either at fullback or as our first port of call when injuries kick in (as they always do).

I'd beg to differ on that one. Whilst what you're getting at is that we wouldn't miss Horne at fullback, I would definitely say that we would miss Whiting in the pack and offloading. He's been one of our best players all year, having to move him would be an undoubted negative.

Basically, the majority of people here know nothing and are just passing on what their sister's friend's uncle's milkman has told them. They're just jumping on the bandwagon. Take anything you read on here with a pinch of salt.
However, there are a couple of posters who have gotten things correct in the past. Highest profile is the Brother (whom some on here revere as a god), who got quite a few correct a few years back (I remember him talking about Jordan Turner's signing a significant amount of time before it was announced). His record isn't 100%, he's gotten some wrong, but it's better than many others.
Another poster talked about McGoldrick signing and Ellis leaving about 3 weeks before that happened, but I can't remember his name.

It was me who mentioned mcgoldrick . Only one I have got right . Your right what your saying , people only post on here what there told , not always certain to come of though . And when it doesn't , people get disappointed because they thought it was gospel if it came of certain posters . I think a lot of people do have good info but sometimes deals collapse for all kinds of reasons . I've seen signings mentioned once on here as a good chance of coming of and minutes later there down in people's 17 for next season .

It would take a massive wedge to persuade Burrow to leave Leeds. Has he had a benefit year yet? And he is just about nailed on to get a coaching job when his playing days are over.

| I noticed that about big brother so I will keep an ear out if he has anything to say regarding rumours
I will read something on here and then get a text off my uncle saying the same rumour in which someones told him haha rumours spread like wild fire .
Obviously I cant say to much but I have a source who works with in the club who I put a lot of trust in so when that person tells me something I take it as fact , obviously some times your told some thing and then it changes so even a very reliable source doesnt get it right all the time .
I was told just before I joined this forum that
Richard horne would retire at the end of season and join coaching team
Seymore was told to find another club (heard this b4 all the adam pearson statement)
I was told about mckinnon well b4 it came out

Could only see us going for burrows if the chase deal falls through . Think holdsworth will be one and hopefully chase to partner him .

Kind of agree but holdsworth could be the organiser and chase the flair with pace . Like you say both s/o but both could play scrum half role .

Although Holdsworth has the 6 jersey on his back, he still plays more of a 7 role imo. He isn't a runner, but he is creative and has a great kicking game. I honestly think they would work well together, if we get both then Holdsworth will be the 7.

| Also same as Seymour when he was in the NRL. He has no running game at all but at Cronulla and Brisbane he was often named as the 6 although he far from been one.

| holdsworth and chase for me would work perfect and be the best partnership in superleague imo
chase runs at the line and plays with the defense and his own players sometime lol and holdsworth has a quality kicking game and very creative every salford try goes through his hands since matty smith left cheaper then brough and i would rather have holdsworth tbh he destroyed the england defense in the exiles game

| Tbh, although I would be concerned as I see Chase and Holdsworth to both me more of a 2nd reciever, for the majority of this season we've been playing with a left and right side halfback so it wouldn't actually make much of a difference if we keep the same style of play.
Holdsworth did play at Scrumhalf a couple of years ago, before Salford signed Smith.

Problem with that would be that I really don't see Chase only playing on one side of the field, and nor would I want him to if he comes. The sooner we ditch the split halves system the better anyway, IMO.
