Kind of my point. Last year it tended to be Turner doing more of the drifiting infield to cause the gaps. Gentle did give him a fair crack in preseason. He actually got more game time than Martin, he just simply wasn't as good and hadn't improved his defence any since last year. Martin has the position on merit based on the games played so far, so I don't personally see how you can say
cant judge to much from pre season though at the end of the day its just a clash of opinions i personally think turner has great potential but needs time on the field to prove it in a league game. i can see why he is playing martin atm though more experience and better defence but i think i speak for every fc fan when the right side is something we need to improve drastically to be challenging at the top
i said i hope he picks the team on form yes but that doesnt mean i cant say id like to see turner ahead of martin thats my opinion id also like ellis or nicklas ahead of horne but doesnt mean it will happen just an opinion who i think gives more to the team

Would be the obvious choice for him, as Sinfield has said before, the players play for less to buy into the opportunity to win trophies. AP will be hacked off at losing out to the Hetheringtons again though.

It's a done deal, he will be in a Leeds shirt next season.

Would have been a good signing, but personally I would sooner focus on other areas which I feel are more important at this stage of our building, prop being a standout at the moment, also I rate Manu highly so would sooner get him tied up and Moa, a lot to do with a limited amount of cash so glad we are not entering into stupid wage war over a player who will not address the areas we specifically need to presently focus on.
