Forgive my ignorance but what does Andy Last do as assistant coach? We brought Poching in as defence guru and it's starting to pay off.

Evidence seems to suggest that he messes up potential and other than that not a lot but I may be wrong and perhaps there'd be a massive queue from Super League clubs and many in the NRL if his services were ever to come onto the market. My fear is we'll never know.

SL bluprint s internal promotion now - Wane, Anderson, Cunningham, maybe Agar. A proven NRL coach would make a massive difference and give a defining advantage but there aren't any to be had it seems.

If it's doors being blown off let's go for Gus Gould. Problem is he'd sack everyone including the chairman inside the first month! Seriously I'd like to see him employed to do "drains up " report on the club , coaches and players with an action plan so that AP can see if it looks anything like his own and then decide if he's going in the right direction or not. It'd make interesting reading.

Gould is a great idea. He'd let you know in no uncertain terms what we need. I don't think,as Mrs B said, there's any chance of a top Aussie coach coming . I personally wouldn't touch Goulding. When Radford walks, and he will have to, I think we try for Noble in the short term while we sound out an up and coming coach

I think after trying unsuccessfully with Agar and now Radford, we need someone with some proven experience and some hunger.

Any coaching appointment is a gamble. Sport is littered with Coaches/Managers who succeed at one club and then fail elsewhere.

However, what is certain if something still isn't working after 18 months, then a change is needed.
