Am I right in thinking this is the injury inflicted by Meli's late hit away at Saints?

The late hit from Meli was a disgrace, how he escaped punishment is beyond me.

Could this be a ploy by Gentle for the derby?

I would hope he's had the more then usual checkups? had a reli with concussion and wound up with a small bleed in a scan after having headaches and feeling dizzy for weeks. Full recovery mind. Cant be too careful with these.

He's had scans and is cleared by the medical staff to play each week but hits 50-60 minutes and gets headaches.

just hope he gets himself right, maybe in a few weeks we might have him and ellis back

Saved me a post. I'd send him back to Aus for a month to rest, assuming it's a case of waiting for the swelling/symptoms to subside. Continuing to attempt to get him out there if he's not right would be any number of things from selfish to stupid to dangerous.

I'd imagine Holdsworth's case is becoming a real worry for both the medical team and the player himself. I've never heard of a 2 month concussion.
