I went to support my team and like I said to Wolfie yesterday I cannot understand why people want our team to get hammered just to see the coach sacked. At the end of the day Agar is on borrowed time and it will happen when it happens. IAKOW.

Whilst i agree, along with many other fans with the sentiments of yopur protest, the team coach was outside of the main stand, why did'nt you go and wait there and tell Mr agar face to face of his shortcomings, bad coach or not, he always approachable and you have the audacity to use the word 'bottleless' as the subject for your post.

I believe their is a bigger problem at the club and no doubt it will come to light, but the major concern for me is the lack of support our board/directors have publicly given to Richard Agar, their silence speaks volumes of where the problem lies.

Golden rule - never ever distract the players in a negative fashion whilst they have a job to do on the pitch, it helps no-one. If you have a problem with Agar, wait for him to leave after the game, he is quite approachable.

Your first mistake was to assume that the opinions expressed on an internet message board by <5% of our average home gate reflected the majority opinion of the entire fanbase.

Your second mistake was to protest [iduring[/i the game.

Your third was to aim abuse at anyone who didn't agree with you.

You served only as a distraction to the many people who went to the game to support their team. In fact all you really did was unite the players around Agar even more, and rightly so after your antics.

As has been pointed out, there is a time and place to vent your anger against the board and management.

I hope you know more about rugby than you do of English. But that cannot be too difficult now can it



Regardless of what you know about rugby, to suggest the people running our club know nothing about the game is both ignorant of the facts and shortsighted. Like her or loathe her, Hetherington has been within the fabric of the game for 25 years.

Like everything in life, if you are not prepared to speak out and protest you get what you deserve, if everyone just follows like mindless sheep, nothing will change, Agar will remain in place we will continue to decline, it sumbs up how low we are and how low our expectations are when we are quite pleased we only got beat by 10 off Hudds.

Whether you agree with it or not, at least the board will now start to understand some fans anger, I am sure up until now they thought everything was rosy.

What the board will 'understand' is that half a dozen disgruntled fans made a banner and received no support whatsoever from the majority of the crowd. Hardly likely to fill them with the fear of God, is it?

I'm also pretty sure they know exactly how the fans are feeling. Whether they think they need to do anything about it is another matter.

I'm certainly not pleased about losing 3 competitive games in a row this season (is it now 5 in a row since last year?)

I feel for the poster as he saw everyone spouting off hot air on here and thought quite a few would take banners to Hudds. So they probably thought they would help the cause of getting Agar out. They then turn out and find out actually they are the only ones with the banner and feel a bit peeved off. But to there credit they carry on with what they believe in (whether u agree with them or not) and put the banner out to all to see. Now if players get put off by a banner then they should give up the game tbh as to me seeing the banner should of made them rally around the coach more if they like him as much as they say they do. Either way you look at it the banner got someones attention as it was mentioned in the mail and im sure Rule will now be aware as well as Agar that all is not rosey at fc and the fans are not happy

The banner you bring on Friday should cover the full East Stand.

Given the response to the first one that seems unlikely. Looks like the majority of disgruntled fans will show their displeasure by not turning up rather than making a protest. That will probably have more effect TBH.

I hope the banners are put away during the game. I can understand before the game and after.

I think at the end of the Leeds game how majority of the supporters left right on the hooter (or before) was a major surprise to me. Nearly every game in 2009 & 2010 at home a good number of supporters stayed behind to appauld the team win or lose. So that shows that majority of supporters are fed up. The shop after the Leeds game was a lot quieter then usual. No surprise there I know but the board will notice less money coming in.

I have a deal of respect and sympathy for Gav and Co because in the end the banner only said what hundreds of fans are saying all the time. Many on here were going on about taking banners so one can only presume that their mams and dads wouldn't let them have a bed sheet! So at least they towed a line that appeared to be the concensus of the fans. The fact is though to go to the front and poke it under the noses of a team who had just lost and who might not have played well but who had all given their all, was perhaps what rankled with the players and the fans.

However the reaction of O'Meley who is an out spoken and opinionated character at the best of times does in fact show that there can be no doubt about the players loyalty to Agar and there is certainly no split there at present. If Ogre and Co were unhappy with the coach he would be the first to say so and judging by the way he dealt with Tansey he would say it in no uncertain terms to anyone who wanted to listen. The action yesterday although well meant could just have galvanised the squad behind Agar even more!

I have put a report of what I saw in this weeks Diary, there were some two fingered salutes but sadly from what I saw they came from the crowd and not the players. I commented that perhaps it was the right sentiment just at the wrong time. Just my thoughts though!

Good point and one which I agree with.

It baffles me how professionals can be put off by banners. Stop looking around the crowd and get on with keeping your eyes on the pitch and doing what you get paid to do on the pitch

The banner wasn't on show during the match, they laid it out during the warm up, then the stewards told them to take it back. Then they went to the front after the match

It was with a heavy heart that I chose not to go to the match. I do not like the way things are turning out @ present & I cannot afford to waste my hard earned money. I want to be optimistic but it is difficult & has been for most of Richard Agar's tenure.
