| a club the size of us with the crowds and sponsors we attract shouldve been scouring the world for top quality coaches & players but theres no chance with the tightfisted lot weve got in charge here.
every year they sign one household name (and hes not here yet) to sell passes & merchandise and the fans, me included, are like soldier ants marchin down to the KC falling for it every year. the club will never reach the top until its sold and that lot are gone for good.

| So we win 5 and he's a great coach we lose two and he's ready for the chop, you guys need to realise that the last five years has seen this competition get tighter and tighter to a point were anyone can beat anyone, apart from maybe two teams, judge him at the end of the year and not after two losses

He's making a rod for his own back with his stupid team selections
How long will he carry on with Radders at 13,if i want to see 13 men within 10 yards of the ball and 3 props playing 1 man rugby,i'll go watch an under 8 game second thoughts no they will know how to pass the ball across the pitch

So how many changes would you make to what you assume you will be Agar's 17 tomorrow? We should assume that Whiting is not fit enough for SL yet as Agar more or less said this was the case in the week. Thackray for Moa? Assuming he goes with:
Backs: Hall, Briscoe, Horne, Yeaman, Calderwood - our only 5 fit backs
Halves: Horne, Thorman - our first choices
Front row: Dowes, Berrigan, Cusack - again, our first choice
Back row: Tickle, Radford, Washbrook - again, our first choice subject to Crocker
Bench: King, Moa, Manu, Lee - our only fit/available 1st team players left bar Thackray and Houghton, whose selection people have been moaning about stopping Berro playing 80.
Don't see what's to moan about apart from Thackray.

exactly, it isn't like 5 years ago when we were one of the few teams able to spend full cap.
Agar's made a few poor selections in the last few games I would agree. But the squad is still too inbalanced: loads of workhorses and utility players...just 1 creative half back (who Hudds didn't want any more)
and that legacy we got from Sharp is going to last a bit longer yet.
we've still made a decent start, and i think a few are just getting carried away after our winning run, I still feel this seasons team is battling for the 5th-8th positions, which is all last seasons team would have achieved without the injuries IMHO.

at the moment:
i'd keep G Horne as cheap cover
i'd give Cusack one more year on current form
Burnett is a good prospect
the rest have it all to prove, and in Motu Tony's case we'd need to see how his knee copes on his return.
and whilst Thorman wasn't a bad move when we needed to replace Dykes at short notice, i hope the club finally take the cheque book to Australia and get us a top class half back, year after year we fail to address the problem.

Fair enough. I don't want to take any chances v Salford. Realistically we're not going to win the league title, so I'd put all my eggs in the Challenge Cup basket.

Leeds or Saints out of the cup tomorrow along with Bradford or Catalans plus Harlequins.
Beat Salford tomorrow and a favourable 5th round draw and we could be 2 games away from a return to Wembley and another big pay day.

Be unlikely to finish 1 or 2 and even with the new play-off arrangements it's difficult to see anyone winning outside of those spots. Win tomorrow and we're 3 games from Wembley with one of Saints/Leeds out. Just a personal preference, but Wembley is a much better occasion than the GF IMO. Although as Gwilym said about Rovers last night, now they've beaten Celtic they've got a clear run to the final.
